The staff is so kind and helpfull with any question or issue, I thank Amy who allow me to use cable and adaptor for my cellphone two nights. Legend's bar has a wide variety of food options and delicious so you can eat there more than 1 time. Rooms are comfortable and hot water falls quickly. Normal and sparkling water is complimentary. It's a very nice place to stay!!!

The accommodation Teach Sile is located in the center of Kiltimagh. We stayed in the double room, the bed was very comfortable and the room itself quiet due to the rear location. The landlady was very friendly, showed us around and gave good recommendations for restaurants, pubs and parking. In the morning we had the opportunity to have a small breakfast. Highly recommended!

The host is the most hardworking man I've ever met, very polite, cares about his guests, always comes around to make sure his guests are good, always available, gives you all the information, help and support you need. Very focused, organised, hardworking with a smile on his face. You need anything? He's a call away. The hotel has everything to make you feel at home...away from home and that includes a surveillance camera to keep the property secure and make the guests feel safe. The hotel is adjacent to the Bus stop, a stone throw to the train station, and few minutes walk to basic amenities like supermarkets, pharmacy, eatery, you name it. The hotel is perfectly located at the heart of the Town. If you are visiting Ireland, ditch the big cities, start with Ballyhaunis and check into JAMES LYONS B&B, you will thank me later. Knock is a very beautiful place, you can walk around the shrine and museum at your own pace. Anyone can take time to reflect and say a prayer. I learnt a lot about fr Horan who had so much hope and a incredible experience to get things done. Knock is irelands very own Lourdes, but less expensive.

Knock Shrine is a religious venue and Shrine commemorating...

Knock Shrine is a religious venue and Shrine commemorating the Apparition of the Mary, Mother of God with St. Joseph and St. John, so is of appeal to Catholic and other Christian believers and to some people from the other Abrahamic Faiths, Judaism and Islam. It is a modern facility located in a beautiful local setting, and an interesting and scenic part of the west of Ireland, with a local airport and car-hire facilities. As well as religious services, counselling services are available daily. There is an interesting museum and attached to it a very attractive restaurant. The Conference Centre called St. John's Welcome Centre is well equipped. The bookshop is also well managed. There is ample free parking at the venue.

I found getting there by train from Heuston(Dublin)to...

I found getting there by train from Heuston(Dublin)to Claremorris and onward by bus to Knock was easy enough. Once there it was easy to go onward to other destinations as a number of buses go through Knock. Derry,Athlone,Galway and Westport to name a few. There is are diverse eating establishments. Knock is very easy to get around although trying to park may at times be a problem.

I would not recommend unless you are very Catholic as apart from the Shrine which is beautiful, that's it. Knock hotel felt like a retirement home and it was scruffy and staff very unprofessional.

Knock is a Holy Marian Shrine in Co.Mayo.

Knock is a Holy Marian Shrine in Co.Mayo. I find it one of the most serene places I've ever been and find a peace there like no other. Friendly shopkeepers and a beautiful basilica. Highly recommend this beautiful shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Knock

It was my first time in Knock - I thought it was a lovely...

It was my first time in Knock - I thought it was a lovely calm ,peaceful place. The mass was really nice - beautiful sermon and singing . I ate at one of the local cafes across the road from the church . Fab food there! I highly recommend Divine Mercy B & B- just fabulous Elsie the host . Such a kind lady give me great recommendations of the area. I felt staying there was like a home from home 💫

Great location; just a few blocks from Knock shrine. There was a little confusion with regards the type of room we requested, but it got sorted in the end. Luckily there was a spare double room (our original preference) in a backup B and B next door, where the host was very gracious. (There was no kettle in that other b and b, but was made available upon request). The breakfast was grilled, hence healthier.

A lovely stay at Rockfield Manor B&B in Knock. Ann, who runs the B&B is a wee saint🙏 beautiful B&B, immaculately clean, dining room so much choice, regarding teas, selection of breads, jams, and good Irish breakfast 😍 where would you get it? Ann, was wearing, her spotless white uniform, lovely presentation, best wishes from Kathleen and Helen, loved every minute of it , you are 100 percent! 10/10! 🥰🙏👍

Stayed for two nights in the lovely Jordan's Drum Haven B and B just across the road from Knock Shrine. Lynda and Declan were the perfect hosts and made me feel very welcome. Will definitely book again in the near future.

Everything, it was perfect for visit to Knock. It was cosy modern but retaining the character of the cottage. The garden was neat and the flowers very colourful. Lovely views.
