The grounds of Borris House are like a movie set. The gardens, the horses and sheep really add to the charm. We stayed in double room and was ideal for our stay. The walk over Borris Viaduct through village was picturesque and lovely way to spend the afternoon.

I stayed here on short notice for work and the hotel was amazing. I had no idea that the town even existed before booking, but the location was amazing. A lovely little town right on the River Barrow which includes a medieval castle and beautiful bridge. The hotel was very well managed with beautiful artwork and fresh flowers on display. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. The restaurant has a great menu and the breakfast was cooked to order. Some of the nicest food I've had in a long time. I will 100% be back.

We had a truly magical stay at Mon Petit Cottage. The room was very spacious and extremely comfortable, with all the facilities one could need. The whole property was spotless and so welcoming. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. The location is excellent as it's a good base for surrounding areas. And last but not least the hosts were so friendly and helpful, giving us really useful tips on how to make the most of our holiday and making us feel at home. It had everything we needed: a fridge, a washing machine, each bedroom and an unsuite. It was located around the corner from a supermarket and there is a nice pub nearby - The Railway House. We called the owner because we didn't know how to lock the front door (lift up the handle) and he was lovely and friendly. Would recommend.
