Great island to visit. Its is busy as expected in summer.

Great island to visit. Its is busy as expected in summer. Hire bikes to get around. Dun Angus is a must visit. Nice beach to visit. It's a good 40 mins cycles to get there and 15 mins walk up to cliff top! Food is expensive as expected on peak summer visit.

The island is absolutely isolated.

The island is absolutely isolated. Only transportation is bicycles. Most tourists arrive on the morning ferry and leave on the evening ferry so when you stay overnight, it is very, very quiet and isolated. We really loved that part of it! “

There is lots to see and do on the island.

There is lots to see and do on the island. Lots of history and prehistoric monuments. If you are into live music, there's no shortage of that. The Islanders we met were kind and welcoming. We have dietary restrictions, but we're still able to find decent food to eat. There are some spectacular views, and Poll na bPéist in particular is definitely worth a visit.

It is always a joy to visit Inis Mor.

It is always a joy to visit Inis Mor. It is particularly enjoyable at this time of the year before the summer season kicks in. Plenty of walks and sights to see. If the weather is not good, there are the pubs where craic and chat are to be had. The music in Joe Watty's is worth checking out along with their beef caserole.

It is a wonderful place to look at the history of the islands and its culture and a place to visit the other islands. There are plenty of transport alternatives from the energetic person to someone who would find it difficult to walk and cycle around the island.

Inis Mor is a beautiful location.

Inis Mor is a beautiful location. Easy to get to via Ferry from either Doolin in Clare or Rosaveel in Connemara. Getting around the island by bike is great craic. The Wormhole is an amazing place to see and if you're brave enough to swim in. We ate in Joe Wattys and in The Bar which was lovely. Fresh fish on both occasions. Great atmosphere. However, the last day of our stay was spoiled by the weather which turned very nasty and we decided to catch an earlier ferry back to the mainland.

I travelled to Inis Mór late September, alone. My stay in Tigh Fitz was very nice, the room was clean, warm and comfy, and I had a good sleep. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was very good. I hired a bicycle from Cill Rónáin, and that's something I would recommended if you want to explore the whole island.

Everyone who works in Aran Walkers Lodge were excellent. Very helpful and kind. Breakfast was amazing. It's close to a beach and some attractions, for example, the wormhole. I'm very happy with our stay.
