Lovely lady at reception. Was a very warm welcoming person and a great choice for front of house. Facilities were great, easily organised things with reception. Good rooms with large mirrors and parking with in view of the room. In the town and yet it doesn't feel that way. Lovely area and would visit again.

Absolutely loved it! Avril and Neil were very welcoming and knowledgeable, they gave us some great recommendations for Athlone and places to go on the west coast. The beds were very comfortable and there was a good choice at breakfast. We were also very lucky that we got to meet their dog Harvey who is usually kept away from guests, but he came to say goodbye and is absolutely gorgeous! Thanks Avril and Neil, if we're ever in Athlone again we will 100% be staying with you!

We only had a 1 night stay here.

We only had a 1 night stay here. We would definitely have stayed longer. 2 nights would have been lovely. However, upon arrival we were greeted at Reception by 2 lovely people. Immediately we were poured a refreshing sparkling drink and after a little bit of banter were shown to our room. The room opened out onto a small terrace which looked on to the Lake. The sound of the water lapping up towards was so tranquil. The room was beautiful. A large bed with a porthole window above it with the light shining through from the en suite. The room was extremely comfortable. Complimentary Water, cookie, crisps and dark chocolate. Tea making facilities in the room with real milk in the fridge... After we settled in we made our way to the Spa where we had Back Massages booked. The staff here were so nice and after an initial consultation we were taken for our treatments which were very well received. We then went downstairs to the Infinity pool. Such a treat. We had booked the Hot Tub after that. Off we headed in our robes again outside where there was a beautiful wood burning stove. Rhian showed us down to the Hot Tubs and after he filled glasses with Proscecco he left us to 39 minutes of pure bliss. The rain was pouring down but we were in heaven in our 40 degree plus Heat of water. We had our meal booked for 8.45pm. However we arrived early to the bar for a drink where we were shown menus and our order was taken. Once we were shown to our table the food was out in a jiffy. No waiting around here. Our meal was delicious washed down with a Fantastic recommendation of a bottle of wine. Although we hadn't room for dessert our server arrived out with a beautiful treat for us as we were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. What a lovely thoughtful touch. All in all we'd a lovely stay and would certainly return.

We stayed in a room with a balcony. Room was huge, lots of space. Most comfortable night sleep - way better than any hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Very quiet and peaceful. Treats/ snacks in the room were complementary. Easy check out - just had to call reception to let them know we were checking out and to leave keys in room. Friendly staff. Nice touch with bubbles on arrival. Lovely breakfast in the morning and good service. Lovely setting. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful hotel with a stunning infinity pool. Food was lovely and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and the staff couldn’t do enough for us! Highly recommend

The hotel is set in a stunning location overlooking the lake, the breakfast was really tasty and we both had really good massages in the spa. The welcome drink on arrival was a really nice touch.

I really enjoyed our bath treatments in the spa. The dinner was very tasty. I loved the relaxed and cosy feel in the hotel. The voya hand wash and shower products were lovely and luxurious.
