The people running this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was large and perfectly clean. We wanted for nothing and would have stayed longer if our trip allowed. The location was very convenient to access multiple tourist attractions, and the accommodation had a car park for free which made it very easy to get around

A wonderful place and an exceptional host. For us, it was a perfect stopover before visiting the Cliffs of Moher – close enough to drive there in the morning and explore before the crowds arrived. The room and the entire hotel were very clean. The breakfast was outstanding – delicious and made entirely from local products. We only wished we could have stayed longer than just one night :)

Top rate facility!! The room was so comfortable and clean. Everything was easily accessible. The breakfast was huge and delicious!! The family who run Cappabhaile House were SO helpful and gracious. They made the stay like coming home! 1000% would go back there and will recommend to anyone who is going up the west coast of Ireland. Ideally situated for trips to the Aran islands, the Burren, Doolin and Galway.

The House is very beautiful, you have everthing you need. If you need some Timeout from the stress than this is the right Place. We would love to come back again. Thank you for everthing. Fanore is a great location right in the heart of the Burren...

Fanore is a great location right in the heart of the Burren and what a drive out the coastal road from Ballyvaughan to Doolin! Great beach and other beaches also nearby, Bishops Quarter in Ballyvaughan and the famous Flaggy shore.Visit the Burren Perfumery, Hazel Mountain Chocolate factory and Corcanroe Abbey. The Rock Shop in Liscannor a lovely place to shop. For eating don't miss the tea rooms in Ballyvaughan or Monks restaurant on the pier (booking advisable).Much, much more also like Ailwee Caves / Doolin Cave and the world famous Cliffs of Moher ..you are spoilt for choice in the Burren but these are some of our favourites!

A great location for lovely hikes that allow you to discover...

A great location for lovely hikes that allow you to discover the unique features of the coastal Burren (Black Head headland and views towards Doolin, and the Cliffs of Moher). There's a small, family-friendly beach. The village itself seems a bit quiet, but Doolin and its lively pubs are very close. Two full days in Fanore seems like a good amount of time.

location splendid to get away from busy work life and the views of the Burren and near the Fanore beach and west coast was splendid. Our Host went the extra mile to make us comfortable and little touches e.g. orange Juice and fresh milk to get us going was splendid. Best recharge battery energy break in a long time. Thank you Jessica

Very special place surrounded by hills and 5 minutes from the beach in Fanore. It was cozy, clean and had everything that we needed. Very quiet, perfect for a getaway in the Burren. The fire was on for our arrival, such a nice gesture. This was my second stay there, and I hope to be back. Thanks so much!
