Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College holds the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. Location was good. Ideally located on a main bus route from both Dublin City Centre, & Dublin Airport. So a "greener" stay could be achieved. The Host was very helpful and willing to help you get the most from your stay at the hotel and in Dublin. Some nice local independent shops, bars and restaurant's within walking distance, to help you unwind after a days exploring. Hotel was quiet at night, ensuring a good nights sleep.

The ambience of this hotel is really unique and magical. The food is delicious and good value. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative is that you need to think about transport in and out of Dublin city centre but there is a dart station about 17 min walk away and local bus services.

The hotel is located between the airport and the city centre of Dublin which is good when traveling between those places during your stay. However, it is situated at a busy road and it takes roughly 30 minutes to the centre. The rooms were very cosy.
