The location was only a few minutes by car to Collooney itself. There are two supermarkets stocking everything you need for a stay. Very easy to reach Sligo town by car. The house had enough space for the four of us. I really liked the big bedroom with en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. There were 2 tvs so everyone was happy. There’s also a utility room with a washing machine. I enjoyed walking around the beautiful garden each evening and sitting on the bench outside. Clodagh left some goodies which went down well with the kids and the wine with the adults.

absoluly stunning house in beautiful grounds, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, staff is very friendly, it's like walking right into a novel by Wodehouse or Christie, you have the feeling you're staying in a private home. We were sorry to leave, it was just so perfect.

The staff were fantastic. I believe it was Pamela and Beth that checked us in. They were so friendly and helpful as was all the staff here. Our room and breakfast was above our expectations and would have stayed longer if we could have. Amazing place!

An absolutely stunning location, beautiful place, house, room..everything. Even had a shared kitchen, and the host Anne provided us with fresh eggs, and many good tips to see and explore. Wonderful view from the garden, where you can sit and enjoy your meal. Perfect host Anne - extremely friendly and welcoming, it was perfect and will give my best recommendations. This place is that sort of place, where you feel at home. Don’t hesitate to book this place - it’s marvelous:-)

A perfect place... The cottage is very cosy and fully equipped with everything a normal guest could need, the bed is really cosy, the bathroom is also new and modern, everything is clean, and there are some extras. The view from the windows, looking at the bay, Knocknarea and the garden (and some seals and lots of birds), is picturesque and always amazing. The host, Sarah, is very attentive and friendly without being obtrusive, and does her best to make this place so special, with fresh flowers and other little, nice and personal details. I enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again. It's a little gem in rural Sligo! :-)

Good instructions for finding it, and hostess Ann there to meet us She had an extremely generous welcome pack, including delicious homemade sandwiches. The semi detached accommodation is furnished to a very high standard with a good, spacious kitchen and a good bathroom. It is situated semi rurally, with a small town nearby to buy necessities, and Sligo is an easy 10-15 minute drive. Very handy for the Yeats trail, and some of Ireland’s impressive pre- historic monuments. Hard frosts while we were there, so it was very scenic, but we were always warm. Our hosts were warm, friendly and helpful. Very highly recommended.
