The breakfast was terrific. The location was interesting and lovely. We just had a bit of a problem with our constantly rerouting GPS after visiting the Mizen Head finding our way back!!!!! Kathleen was a wonderful hostess!

Home baked scones, a bottle of wine and a log fire ready for a match greeted us when we arrived. Our expectations were exceeded from start to finish. The house has everything you could want. The sockets even have USB charging ports built in all over the house. Host Jane Ann is a pleasure to deal with and will make any guest feel right at home. Easily one of the best places we've stayed in any country. Easy recommendation.

The view over the bay, in the evening in 27 degrees and sunny was awesome. This place is located with a picture perfect view of the Glandore bay. This is a true bed and breakfast pearl, with the sweetest owners, who delivered beyond expectations. The breakfast was also amazing.

Everything was perfect. 10/10. Absolutely beautiful spot, so lovingly created and cared for, every detail was beautiful, the staff were so warm and friendly, and the place was absolutely spotless. Not only that but it was wonderfully quiet and private while being steps from the centre of the village and with a sea view. Just stunning.

    We ate both nights at Mary Ann's bar, where the food was amazing and the long-standing landlord Fergus made us very welcome. There is a weirdly intimidating walled-off tree in the middle of the road as you go down the steepish hill into the town, which makes the place somewhat unusual and very memorable! We didn't venture further in as we were only there in the evenings to get food.

    We loved every minute of our time in Raheen Cottage.

    We loved every minute of our time in Raheen Cottage. Our host was wonderful and so generous,a delicious feast of home baking and cooking ready for us on arrival. The house was spotless clean and covid safe, everything necessary to stay safe provided. Kitchen fully equipped for the keen cook, beds really comfortable, lots of comfy sofas and chairs to enjoy the books provided. We all loved the conservatory where you could enjoy the beautiful garden and views of rolling hills, and an abundance of wildlife. West Cork is stunning and the people are warm and welcoming, none more so than our host her generosity and welcome made our stay, perfect in every way. We will be back, highly recommend staying here.
