The location was super albeit up a very narrow, bendy lane. It's in the countryside, yet only about a ten minute walk to Spiddal and less to the beach. Ideal location for exploring West Galway. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of towels and hot water available. Our dog was made very welcome, too.🥰

Overall, a dream stay. Beautiful grounds, beautiful building and luxurious decor. Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of lovely little touches like classic movies each evening, gourmet dinner in the Pullman restaurant which is actually two train carriages from the original Orient Express, stylish cocktail bar and relaxing reading room in the Abbey.

Room and bathroom were a nice size and very clean. Staff were super polite and helpful. Not too close to the city center but there is a bus stop right next to the property. There is also a supermarket next door which has good breakfast options, coffee and other food. It can get a bit noisy at night but I used earplugs so it was fine.

This is an amazing location right across the street from a beautiful sandy beach and promenade. You can sit and watch people swim daily. Free parking on the property. The staff were really helpful at the front desk.
