Lovely village, took the ferry across to Sherkin island, had a fabulous time there. Only negative was the price of coffee in Jacobs bar. Ordered an americano , charged 4 euro in the very small take away cup. Mentioned the high price and I was told that I wouldnt get coffee anywhere else in Baltimore. Very off putting, rip off Ireland is alive and well. I don't get charged 4 euro in Dublin or elsewhere , really over priced and cheeky service. The Channel View BnB has lovely coffee with breakfast. Maybe some other establishments can start offering coffee...

The room was good. The prices are way too expensive. Some dishes in the restaurant were excellent, others not so. I had a steak which was so heavily salted I could not eat it. I drew their attention to it and was offered a free dessert!!! Hardly an adequate response.

I loved Baltimore.

I loved Baltimore. It was pretty and well kept , clean and very scenic. The walks were well signposted, the walk to the Beacon was a must . We found the local beach, an amazing place for a swim , equipped with life buoy . A friendly town with a real sense of authenticity.

Very compact village/town, everything within walking distance. Lovely restaurants with beautiful food and good value for money. Access to the islands was so easy. Nice walks in the area i. é. Beacon Walk and Lough Hyne

Baltimore harbour was beautiful and wild during the storm when we arrived. The next day all was calm and sunny, so we enjoyed the village and it's very nice restaurants. The vegetarian pizza + fresh fish and chips in Jacobs was delicious. So was the burgers in the Algier Inn. There is even a 2 Michelin Star restaurant if you are foodie We hope to come back during the summer to go whale watching and explore Cape Clear.

We recently stayed at Channel View for one night. The property was impeccably clean, and the views were absolutely stunning. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast that set the perfect tone for the day. The location is ideal, as it’s within walking distance to Baltimore. A special shout out to Margaret, who was very helpful. Would recommend Channel View for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Baltimore!

Absolutely fabulous location. Just steps from the bars and restaurants and the gorgeous harbour of Baltimore. The property however was charming, spacious and a perfect cottage for a stay in Baltimore. All the facilities were spotless and the hosts were exceptional with Liam and Margaret bringing chocolates and biscuits when we arrived. Can’t recommend it enough. Gorgeous 🥰

Lovely b and b. Rianne and Jerry are great hosts. My room was really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, including Rianne's homemade bread and yoghurt. Rianne was full of interesting information about the local area too. The Stone House is within walking distance of Baltimore. Would definitely stay again.
