If you love nature and a change of scenery then you will be happiest. we spent time at sekumpul waterfall and fiji waterfall spectacular views with tropical green forest, very refreshing for the eyes and mind while here Think of this homestay as a place to rest, recharge your batteries and take full advantage of the perfectly maintained garden where nothing is left to chance. 3 houses with different atmospheres. Very nice staff. Cheap and excellent food. Massage services, scooter rentals etc. are offered. We felt more like we were staying with the locals and it was a pleasure. Beautiful sunsets every night. I could chat for hours but for sure we will be back again and again.

What an amazing place!! A true exotic paradise location! Beautifully set, high in the mountains, this new built mini-resort provides all you need to experience the serenity, fantastic nature and friendly ways of local people. The bamboo cabin is so pretty, neat and comfortable - a large bed with a canopy and moskito curtains (not at all needed in February!), lovely wooden furniture, the bamboo finish and the lovely bathroom surrounded with the view of the local greenery and the mountains. Unforgettable. Eating area under a roof with 360 views of the surrounding nature, the beatutiful pool, fire place area and the vegetable garden for the needs of the resort's kitchen. The team is really nice, with a good knowledge of English and catering for any needs, including transfers, local trips and food requests. Local people are most friendly. They live modestly but are so rich through their culture and religious rituals, architecture and devotion! A real privilege to be a witness of some of it. A half day trip to the natural water slide, Sekumpul and Fiji waterfalls, cliff jump and the trek across the rice fields and the woodland - a once in a lifetime experience. Amazing views, overwhelming sense of power of nature and how local people have learned to peacefully harness it to their needs. A truly wholesome experience!

We like to spend a night here on our trips from Ubud through the botanical garden to Amed. The location is perfect for morning trekking to Sekumpul waterfall or watching the sunset over the mountains from the terrace. The bed is clean and comfortable, and the staff is hospitable. It's always nice to be here. The breakfast nasi goreng is one of the best on the island.

I wanted a quiet and relaxing hotel and this was the perfect place for me. Every day I was sitting in the restaurant which has a stunning view on the mountains with jungle and the river and waterfall and clouds. I could sit there for hours and just relax after two weeks. I felt like reborn. While many tourists keep running around to visit waterfalls and temples. I was totally happy with sitting in the restaurant. Once or twice a day, I also went to the pool, which was very good for swimming. The food in the restaurant was very great and surprisingly cheap. Normally, I don’t eat in the hotel because they have 30% higher prices, but not here. I especially liked the chicken Gordon bleu, and im Austrian so I know what a good schnitzel is.
