We loved everything about it! The bamboo house was an absolute dream , its very new and clean. Amazing views of the rice fields, mountain and its even more magic at night fireflies and symphony of frogs :) Also hardly any mossies ! The host was very friendly, detailed orientated and wanted to make our stay perfect, which it absolutely was ! He is also an amazing cook and prepares all the dishes with a lot thought and care. We can't wait to go back !

The hosts are the most polite you'll ever meet and super helpful. The food is amazing, the houses are absolutely beautiful and the area is just stunning as well. We rented a bike and explored nearby attractions as a local guide was hard to come by due to rain. Prepare for everything being a bit more expensive this side of the island and grab/gojek not being available.

I stayed in a bamboo house and, although at first the thought of sleeping “outdoors” felt a bit scary, everything was perfectly safe and comfortable. The experience was truly magnificent, with a unique charm you can’t find elsewhere. The staff were very friendly and always helpful, and the food was excellent. The place also offers plenty of facilities, so there’s no need to worry – it actually feels like a small resort, with several bamboo houses and a restaurant in the middle, creating a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. An authentic and memorable experience that I wholeheartedly recommend!

Our stay at Bamboo Hidden Village was an unforgettable, wonderful experience, where we became one with nature and got a glimpse of the real life of the locals in the village. We spent three nights there and felt very honored to be among the first guests at this accommodation. We especially took our host Agung and his sister into our hearts—they are so hospitable and helpful, take care of you, and are always available via WhatsApp. Any questions we had were answered immediately, and we were also able to rent a scooter from him very easily—it was at our door within two minutes. Breakfast was brought directly to the villa – on request, an extra vegetarian breakfast with Balinese specialties was even prepared for us – super delicious! Since it is a bamboo house in the jungle, you should be prepared for some cute geckos to be near the villa at night, which may entertain you with their noises, and small cute frogs sometimes croak at night. If you are sensitive to noise, we definitely recommend earplugs! It is important to know that these are the only animals that may make themselves comfortable far away from you in a corner of the bamboo house – there are no wild animals such as snakes or the like, so you can enjoy a real jungle experience without any risk. We have also learned that geckos are considered lucky charms and guardians of the house in Bali. Furthermore, the bamboo house property is fenced in anyway. The villa also has a breathtaking outdoor bathroom, which adds even more charm to the nature and freedom experience – but the hammock in the front area tops everything anyway! We chose to stay at this property for one night and we loved it. This bamboo house is really nicely done, there is such a romantic atmosphere. It is situated in the jungle with a nice view of rice fields. If the weather is nice, you can even see volcano, but unfortunately it was raining during our stay, so we couldn’t see it. Staff is friendly and willing to help. Dinner we ordered was amazing. We payed some extra to experience floating breakfast and we didn’t regret it. Choose this place for at least one night to make your staying in Bali perfect.

Every morning, we woke up feeling like we were in a dream, surrounded by nature and beauty in every direction. We loved how open the space felt, with nature all around us—yet at night, we could close the soft curtains that wrap around the house, creating a cozy and private cocoon while still hearing the peaceful sounds of the outdoors. A stunningly beautiful location right in the middle of rice fields and view to Mount Agung. The location is very picturesque. Beautiful sunset and sunrise view. The property is also very nice and cozy with great food menu. An off beat location, which is actually peaceful and great for nature lovers, adventure seekers and history lovers. It is close to the mother temple of Bali (15 minutes), Blue lagoon diving and Snorkeling, p Pura Tirta and the most amazing rafting site. So a 3-night stay at this place is ideal to cover east Bali and then you can go to Ubud.

Staying at this property is a dream.

Staying at this property is a dream. Everything exudes jungle vibes. The logical consequence is that it's quite humid. What we personally found disappointing was that there's nothing to do in the immediate area. We enjoy walking around the area, searching for beautiful views, authentic spots, and restaurants. For that, you really depend on taxis.
