Pedro is amazing. He met me at the ferry terminal and took me to his guest house. The room was spacious with ensuite bathroom and Aircon which was incredible for the price. It was very clean, had a wonderful communal area with a library, tea, coffee and water station, and deck with a fantastic view back to town. Breakfast and dinner were included which was an added bonus. Pedro helped organise transport to the blue river which was very convenient and well priced and was very helpful with information about the area. And he even dropped me to the ferry when I left! Incredible service. Everything was amazing for a quick stopover in Waisai. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Pedro!

We felt very welcome at Husna's homestay and it was a very nice experience. Food was nice and the local tips and advice was very good. I also really enjoyed seeing the Wilson Bird of Paradise during my stay, it was also a great experience. Highly recommend this place when staying in Waisai.

It's enough of what I needed. Friendly people, 2 separate rooms with one a bed, one a couch. Close to the local market. Perfect stay for 2 people. Don't expect too much luxury but price matches

Lots of good food friendly staff beautiful location and plenty of privacy. All the food is local Indonesian which is what I look for when I travel. And an all you can eat buffet and the sun decks are nice

Meridian is a great way for people who have not been to Raja Ampat to get introduced to what the area has to offer without committing to more local accommodation. The property, food and location were fantastic. The people who looked after us made the stay really homely. Thank you.

Comfortable & Eco-Friendly: * Overwater bungalows with private balconies—wake up to breathtaking sunrises. * 24/7 electricity powered by solar panels. * Starlink Wi-Fi for reliable internet, even in this remote paradise. * No mosquitoes during our January visit! Amazing Food: * Delicious meals prepared by a talented Malaysian chef—every dish was superb. Outstanding Hospitality: * Rachid, the host, went above and beyond, even snorkeling with us to show hidden gems. we dived with Corepen Dive and Tarzan Divers. We much MUCH preferred Corepen Dive people that came to pick us up, were friendly and knowledgeable and accommodated our desires. We disliked Tarzan Dive Center which is more like a factory where the owners and her crew were just bored to death on each dive ( with the exception of the charming Merilla). Verdict: Friwen Mangrove Eco Lodge is a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and eco-conscious comfort. Highly recommend!

Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! Don’t compare it to any other parts of Indonesia (certainly not...
