A place from an age of understated luxury. Old glory—but not faded. It has all the amenities and the quality of service you expect from a five star hotel, but without the excess and vulgarity of some of its newer peers. Check-in was smooth and available 24 hours, which was helpful since I checked out early in the morning. The room was nice, clean, and neat, with great views. The hotel offers plenty of activities and facilities, though I didn’t get the chance to use them. Definitely recommend!
