Amazing stay and fantastic experience. What an absolute delight it was to stay at room Kalimatan. The house is owned by Laurent- the property is newly built, finished to an excellent standard and interesting design that creates a great space that fully integrates with the countryside. All this within easy reach of the more busy and touristic town of Labuan Bajo. We chose to stay here after a 1,200 KM trip around the island and before heading back to Labuan Bajo and we are so pleased that we did. There is a true saying in Flores and that is that guests are welcomed with open arms and treated like the people’s family. That’s a true description of the hospitality that we received, that went well beyond our expectations. Our room was spacious and the view from the terrace was spectacular particularly at sunset. The bed was so comfortable, we slept with the doors open, there was no need for the mosquito net provided and we enjoyed the gentle breeze and fresh air. The property is rural and consequently there is limited choice of restaurants within easy reach, but this is not by any means a problem. On our first nights stay Laurent cooked us a delicious pasta meal and on the second night we were treated to a BBQ of fish and rice cooked and prepared by Damas. Furthermore Damas welcomed us to a special night of local music played with his hand made guitar which is a night we will long remember.

This is a once in a lifetime type of accomodation. The house is a real piece of art, open to the jungle. Everything is made and designed in very good taste, yet combained with pure nature. The house is very charming and romantic and the views are crazy. We were there for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon and had the best time. Yet, it is important to keep in mind that the house is not vey private because the way it is designed, but it is part of the magic. Take at least 3-4 nights for your stay here. There is a lot to see and to experience. Laurent is a very cool guy and a great host. Thank you!

This is heaven on the earth! Simply beautiful place! all the family is really helpful, welcoming and smiling all the time ! Amazing personalities and energy which makes you feel like you are in the right place !!! Our house was amazing- comfortable bed with mosquito net, flower in the room… everything clean and incredibly decorated (even keychain!). on the front, small patio with floor mat and pillows - perfect place for nap or meditation;) The garden is the source of all what’s important, so fresh air, green scenery, food and medicine. if it comes to food-WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

We all love our villa with private pool! Everything was exceptional starting from the staff, the nature and the Villa itself! The location is a bit far if you consider day trips to Labuan bajo and day trips to Komodo Island but totally worth it! probably the best hostel I've ever been to. great stable beds with lots of storage space, new towels and sheets every day, bathroom is not directly in the room but very clean and practical and never crowded. the rooftop pool and bar is a great place to meet other solo travelers, plus there was live music almost every day. the food is also excellent.

Everything was amazing! Katamaran is an absolutely amazing hotel. The rooms were stylish, perfectly clean, the beds comfortable, the breakfast had a ton of choices and good quality. They offer stand-up paddling, snorkeling, and kanu (or however that boat is called). They were always super friendly. The view in the evening is amazing. And it's also pretty nice to wake up seeing the ocean. The staff was super friendly and supportive
