Sleepy island feels make Lembongan feel like a wonderful contrast to the expansion of Bali. Just enough development to provide some comforts and wellness, some great quality food etc - but still the old charm of the basics to enjoy. The nervous system reset when you need clean oceans, white sands and rustic experiences. The island has really cleaned up a lot in the last few years and you can refill water bottles in most places now; there’s a conscious feeling of preservation there which I appreciate a lot when travelling. Some fairly new developments to increase the accessibility and ease of travel with road improvements make life easier for a lot of travellers - and some fairly good gym and yoga locations appearing which is a great addition to the experience of the island.Guest review byHayleyIndonesia - 10.0

Love at first sight ten years ago. Far away from all huzzle and buzz of Southern Bali, Kuta/ Seminyak, Denpasar-areas that were surprisingly flooded this very time. so we were away from rain and catastrophies, happily exploring the new roads, watching Saraswati processions, eating us through the islands many warungs and resturants. friendly, charming, plenty to see, however seeing so much rubbish / trash lying about took away some of the 'shine'. Possibly the establishment of an organisation ?volunteer or ?commercial to recycle plastics (bottles) could certainly assist in recycling some of the plastics. Great small island best stay here the longest part of your trip not the shortest, I was here 15 years ago and its hardly changed unlike the rest of Bali. Mushroom beach is defiantly the best place for lazy style island life! If you don't stay in a beach front you may be disappointed with the surroundings and unmade roads around Mushroom bay so stay as close to the beach as possible, Beanbag beach night dining and each beachside restaurant has a small camp fire on the beach at night. Same as everywhere in SE Asia a few steps off the beach and the warungs are 1/2 the price of beachfront food and drinks. Suits couples and families best as there is no nightlife at this end of the island although beachfront has live music most nights! Highly recommend Nusa Lembongan if you looking for somewhere a little quieter and away from the hustle and bustle. There were plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from and food available for every palette.Guest review byCliveAustralia - 8.0
Bit of a mission to get there but worth it.
Bit of a mission to get there but worth it. The fast boat from Sanur was packed to full capacity. D'Camel Fastboat crew were great with luggage and assisting. Many places to choose from to eat, Supermarket sells fresh cut fruit in containers. Hired an electric buggy instead of a motorbike to travel round the island, 4-6 seater and fun. Dream Beach restaurant with pools you can pay $10 for the day to swim and lounge around with great views and good food for a day out. Treat yourself to a Healing package at the local Spa for 2 hours. Plenty of dive, snorkelling and day trips to other islands. You can be as busy or as quiet as you choose.Guest review byRobynAustralia

The air con is great and the pool was really nice. The location is also really great as nothing is more than 10 minutes away as the hotel is so central.
