Perfect place to discover Moni, Kelimutu and the surrounding area. Here, you are welcomed like a member of the family. The atmosphere is incredible. The room is comfortable and the setting idyllic. Jhon and his team make sure you feel at home. It's the perfect opportunity to learn more about Indonesian culture in Flores, but also to make new friends. Music, barbecues, guided tours... Billy is a wonderfully kind host and he is also diligently trying to always make the place better. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and you can fall asleep to the sound of river outside! Travellers should try to be understanding of the general limitations in the area (e.g. no WiFi, low water pressure, occasional power cuts) and we would recommend minimising plastic waste too. We also enjoyed the day trip that was organised for us :)

The kindest and most welcoming hosts, set in the beautiful location of Moni. Hans, Emelda & family really made us feel like we were at home - from inviting us to their Son’s celebration one evening, tending to our injuries after we took a fall, arranging buses for us, and organising for their Nephew Anton to show us around his village. We fully recommend if you want a homestay that make you feel like part of their family!

It was very easy to find. Doping (host) is so helpful and will help you with everything. Great to do trips to Kelimutu from there. Doping is always ready to make your stay better. Also the pancakes for breakfast are very delicious!

    Great place worth viewing, I would recommend taking a picnic...

    Great place worth viewing, I would recommend taking a picnic up there so you can spend more time there and have lunch they are plenty of different spots to wonder around l. The forest is beautiful which is something you don't really see when walking through in the dark for sunrise.

So if u are considering whether to come or not, waste no time… book ur flights and jus get here, people here will assist u the travelling plans, but just need to be careful with some transportation charges! There are always cheaper way to get ard…

    Very nice sunrise if the weather permits.

    Very nice sunrise if the weather permits. Very marvelous view over the crater on the top of the hill. Walking a bit of the track is possible too if you would like to see a bit closer to the crater. The track is very easy!
