The Gili Islands are truly a beautiful place, with crystal-clear waters. Especially Gili Meno, where you can escape the crowds of tourists and the noise of nightlife. But be careful — unfortunately, one of the biggest issues on the island is the litter left behind by tourists, which takes away some of the charm of these amazing islands. There are no cars here; people get around using electric scooters or small horse-drawn carriages. If you're looking for fun, head to Gili Air or Gili T. It is an all natural experience! Walking around the islands, bare foot in sandy roads, eat in restaurants in the sand, swim in crystal clear waters and with the company of the turtles! The island is amazing, however there is a lot of rubbish everywhere, great vibe on the island and you are literally surounded by the beautiful sea, amazing sunsets. Island vibe simple and quieter Not any shops but adequate for simple supplies Excellent response from Medics when called upon for unwell guest., Restaurants with varied Menus Attended a Family wedding function on the Isand which was amazing, perfect. There are lots of options for seating too which is a plus. Lovely warung to have all meals if you want but even the breakfast is yummy with many options. There was also many warungs and restaurants all around us. The staff are very friendly and helpful - we hired bikes off them to explore the island. The beds are very comfortable and the aircon is great. Many kittens around which is always such a wonderful addition. Amazing value for money. The staff were amazing and so helpful whenever we needed anything. Our room was very comfortable and clean and we were seconds away from the ocean where we saw lots of turtles! The rooms are great. The highlight is really Adakz, the hotel manager. He took very well care of us and organized everything for us. He really has at heart the wellbeing of his guests and helping the larger island community.
