The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and most importantly they were very accommodating, and tried their best to fulfill your request. Junior Suite - this Mercure property has all the hallmarks you would expect from this hotel chain - the room was exceptionally well appointed (more akin 5-star - with all complimentary benefits) - large/clean/modern - the hotel has excellent room service food, an above average breakfast, a pool & gym - but the real plus of this hotel is the staff (all the staff !!) - we genuinely felt they had the guests best interests at heart (and not just for a good rating !!) - we very rarely name names but the two managers Ari and Joko were by far the best we have encountered in Indonesia

The location of the Aryaduta Hotel is the best in Makassar. A stroll across the road to the harbour/ foreshore. The complimentary breakfast caters for all palets be they Euro or Asian, as does the a la carte menu. The thing that stood out for me at this hotel though was the staff from the desk to the wait staff and housekeeping they were all the friendliest I have come across in all my years of travel. I stayed here for close to 2 weeks because I enjoyed it that much.
