The owner, Moses, completely took care of us from a to z. He organised delicious meals for us every day and went out of his way to organise the activities we wanted to do. He took us to the local market, to his other hotel in on badjawa, to the hot springs, a local waterfall and more! Rarely have we been so welcomed anywhere. He is completely fluent in English and was patient with our questions about the local area and people. Thank you Moses! The hotel is off the beaten tourist path and you are staying in a real local Floresian village. The locals are so friendly! The location on the beachfront is amazing too and you can snorkel straight off the beach. We made a last minute decision to stay here instead of in Badjawa and we didn't regret it for a second. Much nicer to be in the countryside in the calm where you can do everything that you can do from the town anyway. We didn't want to leave!

The best stay in Flores. The rooms and bathroom are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. We stayed in the standard room and it was perfect. The view from the property is beautiful. Probably the best place for sunrise (as good as Wolobobo point) as the sun light falls on Mount Inerie from behind the guesthouse. The restaurant has even better views and you could spend all day sitting there and having amazing food. They have both local and western food l. Jo and his team were the best people we met and ensured our stay was replacing as well as fun. The stay is closest to all the traditional villages and the hot spring so you can visit them even late in the evening or night and not be worried about getting back. Would 100% recommend

Rooms are relatively standard, medium-sized with comfortable, larger beds, small, ensuite bathroom, large windows, and with small desks and limited storage space. The electrical and wifi are good. Basic breakfast is included. The big plus at this place is the building itself, with huge, showy terraces loaded with character furniture and with fantastic views at the back, probably one of the best places to hang out in town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is set outside of town, on the main island highway, and next to the road that runs south to the traditional villages. So the location could be an advantage, depending on your plans. Scooter rental is available here.

We booked very last minute, as we got lost while looking for the hot springs due to misleading directions from Google Maps and ended up needing a place to stay in Bajawa. Despite the short notice, Arnold welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. He lives in the house with his family and has previously worked as a tour guide, so he knows all the routes and sights in the area extremely well. Arnold gave us detailed directions to go to the hotsprings and even followed up to make sure we arrived safely. He shared many helpful tips and offered to organize spontaneous trips and guided tours. We felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend staying here.

The host was super sweet and helped me to book a last minute trek up Mt. Inerie, got me a scooter rental and coordinated my travel to the airport. Great breakfast. Located in the center of town. Rooms are simple but clean, and very affordable. Hot water in the shower. Tea and coffee available all day.
