Nice quiet place, half of lake is quiet without any buidlings. Other half is great for restaurants, playground. We did nice long walk (10 km ) start with observation tower and walk around whole lake to finnish with great dinner. Just if you start on the lonely site of lake, take water/wine/beer with you :). The city is quite tranquil and beautiful.
The city is quite tranquil and beautiful. Both the Eszterházy manor and the castle were great to visit, plus there are two scenic lakes with park areas to stroll through, Platán Bistro was a great lunch experience, with awesome food and desserts to die for. Tata is a beautiful town with lots to see and do.
Tata is a beautiful town with lots to see and do. The Old Lake is beautiful with a walking trail that goes around it. The boardwalk around the lake has restaurants, pubs and ice cream shops. It has a very relaxed feel about it and is the kind of place that makes you just want to relax and take in all of the beauty around you. The nearby English Garden is also well worth the walk from the Tata castle area. It too has a large lake with many walking trails around it.Guest review byJerryUnited States

A useful kitchen, large beautiful dining room in retro style, a large bathroom, comfortable beds and a nice lady at the reception. They really take care of their interior.
