Very friendly receptionist. Even offered a room where we could keep our bikes safe overnight, and offered to get the sauna fired up. The hotel looks classy, feels new and has some nice touches, such the v entertaining coffee adverts on the wall of the outdoor seating area, and displays of local wine areas. There is also a little bar. The breakfast was good to, with eggs and frankfurters, as well as a good choice of cereals.

Very clean, as soon as we walked in the room it smelled fresh. Very nice and understanding staff due to the lack on communication there was lots of patience. Spacious room and comfortable beds, very reasonable price too!!

The guest house is the perfect house for family or friends. Very clean and spacious. With very comfortable beds and pillows. There is a fridge with freezer, air conditioner, washing machine and everything you need. It was very important for us that the car is in a protected place inside the yard. The internet is extremely fast, it even works in the garden. There are many toys, books and entertainment for children in the house. Thanks to the owners, who are very pleasant and kind people. We will come back again. I give 10 stars for your guest house. Thank you

    A quiet town full of greenery and flowers.

    A quiet town full of greenery and flowers. Clean and tidy streets. Worth seeing are the pepper museum, the cybernetic tower CHRONOS 8 and the archbishop's library with priceless old atlases, globes and books.

    We visited a couple of museums.

    We visited a couple of museums. They were quite cheap but interesting. The first a folk museum had a fascinating collection of rocks and gemstones and information about the history of Hungary with traditional lace costumes and painted pottery. The paprika museum was interesting and had information in Hungarian,English and German ( and possibly French)on the types of pepper and how the crop is harvested and prepared to make different strengths of paprika. There was also information on local vineyards and types of wine. The town centre is being repaved at the moment but lots of interesting historical monuments and statues to see. Locals very helpful directing us to a local cafe with ice cream. Lovely Italian restaurant il Primo.
