The wonderful hotel is located in a small and beautiful ally only a few strides away from the boardwalk. It is stylishly furnished, very clean, cozy and yet elegant. We felt immediately comfortable as soon as we entered. We enjoyed our breakfast on the lovely and romantic terrace. There are plenty of choices. I want to point out the owners especially. They are affectioned, courteous and run their establishment with passion. The San Giorgio has lots of charm and is a marvelous place to spent a romantic vacation on Vis. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rooms Dilk. We were welcomed by Marinka, who showed us to our room and made the check-in process really smooth. The room was lovely, perfect for what we needed and was spotlessly clean! Great location, close to the ferry port and everything around is within walking distance.

Everything about the apartment was amazing, great check in communication from Marinka who was close by if we needed anything. Exceptionally clean lovely apartment with everything you need.     The island of Vis is truly very special, still largely untouched by mass tourism, which gives it a unique and authentic charm. Its beaches are fabulous, with crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Additionally, the island offers wonderful restaurants where you can taste local cuisine made with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Here, time seems to slow down, allowing you to savor every moment calmly. The people are very friendly and welcoming, always willing to share their culture and hospitality.

    Vis is a great place to unplug and relax.

    Vis is a great place to unplug and relax. The color of the ocean is mesmerizing and the streets of Vis town, Kut, and Komiza are fun to wander. We enjoyed a boat trip seeing the Blue Cave, Green Cave, and swimming at several beautiful beaches, although the water was still a bit chilly this time of year (on the plus side, the sites weren't crowded). Food and wines are fantastic, and there are so many great restaurants in Kut and Vis. If we'd had more time, we would have scheduled a wine tour as well.

    Very pretty island with some nice swimming areas, perfect for chilling. Ample cafés and bars however we found Hotel Issa to offer by far and away the best value for walk in meals Good fun tracking down the Mama Mia locations. Ferry times make it unworkable for a single day trip so you have to factor in 2 nights accommodation Overall impressions 8.5 / 10

    Vis is a stunning island and we spent 4 nights here as part of a 4 week trip touring Croatia and its islands. It's the location they filmed Mamma Mia 2. The water is stunning green and is so clear. Vis town is a beautiful spot to stay with the old town Kut being particularly beautiful. We didn't have a bad meal and although it's not particularly cheap it's not as expensive as Dubrovnik. Konoba kantum is a must for authentic Croatian food, Restaurant Pojoda for great seafood and Lambik Bistro for good pizza. Fort George is a great place for a sunset cocktail as it Bistro Frutarija. Vis has beautiful beaches and highly recommend Plaža Zaglav for kids (its worth the walk). Highly recommend a car.

    STUNNING island with much to do.

    STUNNING island with much to do. I wish we stayed longer to get to travel more of the island, but easy to walk around. Lots of very well behaved dogs walking around no leash. The weather was a bit iffy some days, but we went to Lipanovic winery for a tasting. Its within an old War tunnel. The only one in use on the island (which says a lot because the whole island was used to store war needs for WWII). The wine was really great!

    There is enough to do and see with good walking.

    There is enough to do and see with good walking. There is a good choice of restaurants and bars and if self-catering there shops and bakers to buy what you need. You can get to parts of the Island by bus and the ferry links are good.

    Vis and Kut are outstanding. We took a trip to the blue cave from Korcita, then a water taxi from Dalmatia to the green cave and blue lagoon. We had both to ourselves as went early in the day and left before the tourists arrived at 11. There are cats living on the private terrace. Great to have a washing machine and very close to the centre of Kut and seafront. Delicious meal at san Giorgio Hotel which is just around the corner.

    Fantastic location and apartment, it was a home away from home. Monika was an A+ host, couldn't have been more helpful and informative about the island and potential activities. This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in recent years. Can't recommend this apartment enough, if you're going to Vi's, book here!

    Since the negative reviews they have clearly renovated the room and kitchenette, as well as ensured the cleanliness levels are better. The bed is comfy and the kitchen area is new and modern.
