Absolutely fabulous in every way! Superb facilities, from a top of the range fully equipped kitchen to en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom, fabulous balconies with sea views and two live pools, we all fell in love with this accommodation. Excellent communication throughout, (we were lucky and we could check in earlier), Anel provided us with links for shops/restaurants etc, and was super helpful. We could not fault anything, and highly recommend for anyone seeking top class, quality, luxury accommodation a stone throw from the sea, with stunning sunsets, in a truly peaceful setting.

This accommodation was without exaggeration perfect. The apartment is right on the best beach on the island in a quiet part of town. The apartment is very spacious, airy and has breathtaking views of the beach and mountains. The air conditioning is great for both the living and sleeping area of the accommodation. We parked right in front of the apartment on the beach. The owner was communicative, friendly and very helpful. He also gave us many tips on restaurants and places on the island which enhanced our vacation greatly. We will be very happy if we ever manage to return.

The beaches are beautiful all around Vir, so there are plenty options to choose from. The thing I was missing was some kind of that typical promenade filled with cafes and small shops where you can stroll during the evenings. What I appreciate is that the grocery stores/supermarkets are virtually everywhere,

Vir is quite tourist-centric, which has its advantages and, unfortunately, its disadvantages. The island itself is beautiful, I like the hustle and bustle (although we were in Lozice, a little further north, in a quieter part) and there are quite a few restaurants to choose from. However, the shops in the area are like the domestic (Hungarian) department stores at Christmas, no matter what time of year we went shopping: full, the lines barricaded, a minimum of 10-15 minutes waiting at the cashiers. The beaches are nice, the ones we went to were clean, although unfortunately I saw quite a few people littering... There is also the possibility of a short excursion around the red rocks on the far side of the island, the view from there is amazing. The locals were nice, but the car traffic is quite chaotic - narrow streets, everyone is in a hurry, not many people know the stop sign, etc.

Vir is a village-style resort with limited infrastructure. While there are several restaurants and cafés, the food offerings are quite repetitive—mostly chips, grilled meats, and common fish dishes, with little authentic Croatian cuisine. Most beaches are rocky, with Lanterna Beach being the only one with pleasant sandy areas in the sea. Some water activities like jet skiing and SUP are available, but rental prices are high.

In the center of Vir is absolutely neccessary to develop...

In the center of Vir is absolutely neccessary to develop PEDESTRIAN ZONE and pavements. Restauranst are OK, however many of them prefer group of 4 and more people and couples have to wait to be seated. There are many supermarkets and bakeries. Do not expect any historical or cultural experience, Vir is more for beaches and sailing.

Really like this location.

Really like this location. Although it's an island, it's accessible by car via bridge, which makes car trips around fast and simple (e.g. Nin, Zaton, Zadar). There are lot of good restaurants around, nice, clean beaches, local shops.

Very nice apartment with big bedrooms, comfortable beds, well equipped and big kitchen, the apartment is cool and shaded as opposed to many others in the area, very friendly and helpful owners, quiet neighbourhood, the beach is just short walking distance. We had stayed in two different apartments in Vir in the previous years and this one was the best. There are some little shops nearby, so you can get supplies easily without driving anywhere.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, they let us to store the bikes in their garage. The house is situated in a very rural part of Vir, in very green surroundings, nice for biking and walking. Wonderful views from the terraces, 100 m to the sea and short walk to Pedinka beach with easy entry to the sea. The stay was really enjoyable.

Great location, peaceful and quiet. Some beaches and shops are within short walking distance. Vir Island is ideal for families with children. Apartments have everything that you need. Wi-fi is excellent. Owners are helpful, and communication is great. I would stay here again.

We had a great stay! The accommodation is close to the beach, and the owner is very kind and helpful. There are several restaurants and shops nearby, the kitchen is well equipped, and having a washing machine was a big plus.
