This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

The highlight of Plitvice is in the middle of the top.

The highlight of Plitvice is in the middle of the top. Many travelers only look around the lower part, but it can be said that they only appreciate about 35-40% of it, and go without seeing the other 60%. A medium sized waterfall, a pond and a pedestrian path leading to the pond are varied, beautiful and endearing.

Extreme little to do in the area beyond the lakes - you can walk it all in around 3 minutes, I wish I was exaggerating! Three shops (a cafe bar / two bakeries) and a restaurant and couple of supermarkets. People were friendly enough though.

Small city that does not have anything special to offer. It has a few restaurants that are nice and a store. But it is a nice quiet place from where you can go on fieldtrips - Plitvice Lakes one of the most famous ones.

You should stay here for at most one night.

You should stay here for at most one night. There isn't anything to do or to see here. Use it at as stop to get to the lakes which are worth every penny. There is bus shuttle service supposedly to get to the lakes, but renting a car and reserving a parkingspot at the lakes is probably your best bet. The people here are very kind, they'll help you if you need something. We planned this part of the trip badly, and only because of the help of strangers a possible disaster was mitigated. The people here made everything 10 times better, from police, to servers, to the owners of the establishments, to the regular people just walking around. They are very kind. I had a great time here.

Great place to take 2D rest on our trip to Makarska.

Great place to take 2D rest on our trip to Makarska. We spent one day at Plitvicka jezera to see where famous movie with Pierre Brice aka Vinetou was made. It is wirth of you time and money. Book the tickets online at least 24 hour in advance so as you can save your time. Choose route “C”- boat and train is already included in the price. The best choice is to start at “Ulaz1”. We spent there more than 8 hours! and we really enjoyed every second there!

Amazing. Cozy, warm, a place where you would stay for relax and enjoy pltivice lakes and walkings looking for nature (and bears), or outdoor activities (zip line, adventure park) surrounded by apple trees. Sonija is a wonderful charming guest. Apartment has all amenities and a nice terrace. Confortable beds, excellent shower, nice kitchen, board games for children, free WiFi and TV ( if needed). It is close (5 minutes walk) from the village and from supermarket. I would reccomend to stay here in your trip in Croatia.

Impeccable hotel from all points of view. Spacious room, very comfortable beds, varied and quality cooked breakfast, for all tastes and needs, terrace and relaxation area in a beautiful natural setting. In addition to all this, we particularly appreciated the reception staff, very friendly, kind and available, always attentive, who supported us with good recommendations for spending time and made us feel very welcome.

Very pleasant surroundings, open view to the fields. A swimming pool, a mini golf, playground, we’re available. Breakfast buffet was available (though not included in the price) and was plentiful with a very good choice of foods. Dinner was also available in the premises and it was very tasty. The hotel was approximately 20 minutes away to the entrance of Plitvice lakes.

The location is great! Just 20 minutes from the famous Plitvice Park and just a few minutes from the city center, also the house is really cute! 🥺 The staff is super kind, the family that runs the house makes you feel like home You have to take breakfast in the hotel!! Delicious, the eggs they use for crumble eggs are from their farm and for just 10€ you can eat a lot!
