It was in a beautiful location. Quiet little village on the water. Tiny beach opposite, we swam and had less than 1 minute walk back to the apartment. Parking was close to the flat. Balcony was nice and secluded, shaded with vines.

Its the perfect accommodation in the small village of Ston. its located in the old town. Very comfortable rooms. VeSpecially bed was very comfortable 👍. I liked the fact that we had a separate bedroom and the living room with sofa and kitchen just for us, after a lot of small rooms in another locations. Everything was clean and the terrace is great for having dinner at the sunset. The garden is AMAZING! It is like visiting your grandma in the countryside! The way to reach the Airbnb passes through the salt pans of Ston and it is gorgeous! I strongly recommend the walk through the second largest wall in the world after the Chinese Wall: you should start in Mali Ston and go to Ston, visit Ston and walk back.

We loved Ston! The little town and the wall walk were awesome. We loved our location and the restaurant was delicious! Our room was very good. All the people in the town that we met were wonderful and many people helped us out when our car broke down. We had a great time!

Ston was an interesting place to break up the trip from Split to Dubrovnick. It was a disappointment as far as the oysters were concerned, being the oyster center for Croatia. They were just extremely expensive and there were no deals to enjoy them at a decent price. If we had more time we would have gone to an island instead...

We really enjoyed our time in Ston, it is nice and small, yet full of amazing history and things to do. The hike up the wall of Ston to Mali Ston was great and not too difficult. Beautiful sights from the top!

Historic town with impressive (and impressively long) walls.

Historic town with impressive (and impressively long) walls. Ston is a much smaller, calmer, quieter, and more authentic version of many of the overly touristy walled old towns along the coast. Large sections are still not renovated however. The town has a few shops but mostly cafes/restaurants and locals housing. Lacks the luxury shops and glitz of Dubrovnik but also the crowds. A bit overpriced to walk the walls but presumably the entry fee helps with further repairs and restoration. The (still) working salt flats are interesting and they have opportunities to join in the harvesting. The city parking lots outside the walls are all paid which seems shortsighted and silly if they really want to bring in tourism.

history, great local wine and food, clear blue sea and no crowds; vacation as it should be :) the area is famous for oysters and mussels and many restaurants serve them from their own farms; not to be missed; the hike over the city walls (connecting Ston and Mali Ston) offers great views over the area, oyster farms, salt panes and isles...on both sides of the wall hike are very nice restaurants offer freshest sea food and light, local wine - just what you need on a hot day

We had such amazing time there. Amazing stone house in the little village, sky full of stars when you enjoy glass of wine in the evening. We had a long 3 weeks trip behind us and we needed a lot such a nice reset - if you need peaceful stop- that house will give you all. Host is living near by but giving you all privacy that you need. Thank you and see you again.

Everything, this was our second stay here but a different apartment, both were great. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, good breakfast delivered to your door. Right in the middle of Ston, parking is in the public carpark and is paid by your host when you give him your registration number. Highly recommend.

Excellent and warm welcome. The host are smiling and very pleasant. The host offers us watermelon from his garden and cooked for us delicious mussels which is the specialty from Ston. The apartment is very clean and well located in relation to the city center. You can park your car at the apartment. Excellent. To book without hesitation.
