Absolutely Exceptional – A Stay to Remember! We are still here at Hotel Ani in Makarska (leaving tomorrow), but I couldn’t wait to share how incredible this experience has been. From the moment we arrived, everything has been perfect — the room, the views, the food, the spa and privacy policy, the service… simply everything! The hotel itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully designed with comfort in mind. The pool area is peaceful and relaxing, and the breakfast is fresh, varied, and delicious. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, is the staff. Everyone has been kind, welcoming, and professional, but we would especially like to thank Marijana. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests go far beyond expectations. We are deeply grateful for everything she’s done to make our stay so special. If you're considering a stay in Makarska, don't think twice — Hotel Ani is a gem. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Perfect location next to the beach a lot of restaurants at walking distance and the restaurant of the hotel itself is also great. Good breakfast! They reserved a parking spot for us with our name so you can go out and come back without having to worry about losing your parking place. Comfortable beds and very friendly staff.

The staff was very pleasant and cordial, upon arrival at the reception they changed the room that looked at Biokovo mountain to a room that looked at the sea. Breakfast was exceptionally good. I especially liked the American pancakes that are baked on the spot.

    Makarska is the capital of Makarska Riviera and has all required infrastructure with well-equipped beaches, rest areas, shops, transport connections and entertainment venues. Unfortunately, when we needed medical help and X-Ray inspection after getting trauma, we had to go to Split (State Hospital).

    It's a rather small town, but has many options to enjoy yourself. Travelling to Split only takes just over an hour so you could choose to stay there more relaxingly instead of staying in busy Split.

    The walk from Cuban each into town - approximately 3 km was lovely with lots of good beachfront cafes. Parking was expensive for beach access and difficult to get a Bolt/Uber the times we tried. The rooftop restaurant was wonderful for a fine dining experience.

    Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September.

    Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September. July and August is very hot and a lot off tourists on the beach, and on the streets. A lot of traffic, problem to find parking place. We only walk and stay overnight in Makarska center. Biokovo skywalk is fantastic

    Makarska town - a great strategic location to reach other attractions - Dubrovnik, Split-Trogir, Omiš, KRKA park, Biokovo SKYwalk observation deck. This is a great combination of relaxation and sightseeing. We recommend coming from mid-July, because the Adriatic Sea is quite cold. The people are very friendly, We recommend

    Makarska is beautiful with lots of choice of restaurants and bars along the beach. Makarska old town is beautiful and was our favorite place to hang out. Full of character and amazing architecture with the old buildings, little streets off with small independent shops and coffee shops/restaurants. The square that has entertainment going on. There's a beautiful harbor and lovely walks from there to explore other beaches. Makarska is so clean and the people are so friendly. There's so much to explore in the area as well as further afield. Cant wait to go back next year.

    It has amazing architecture and history and you cant stop looking around at the furniture because theres always something to see The hosts treat me like family im originally from bosnia but i live in the UK They are true hosts , beautiful people , who offer any help needed , who dont bother you at all I wil 100% be staying with them again The ridiculous prices in croatia now and apartments is out of control so compared to anywhere!!! Else location wise and price wise they are easily the best priced

    It was the best holiday in Croatia. Apartment is really good for groups. Accommodation on the highest level. Clean, nice, well located and fully equipped apartment. Our hosts are friendly and nice people. They did everything to help us and make our vacation extraordinary. I can say I have new friends in Croatia.
