The hotel experience was delightful, set in a stunning location within the national park. Just a three minute walk from the hotel to Station 1, we enjoyed a scenic ride to Station 2, followed by a pleasant walk to the big waterfall. Our room was exceptionally clean, featuring a comfortable bed and a beautiful view that enhanced our stay. The breakfast offered was reasonable, providing enough variety to start our day. Additionally, there was ample free parking, which made our visit hassle-free. The staff were notably polite, friendly, and helpful, contributing significantly to our positive experience. A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and numerous waterfalls. It is an incredibly beautiful place. There are walkways between the lakes, sometimes of wood (over water) and sometimes of dirt and stone. The wood walkways are not wide and if crowded it can be difficult to pass. But the walkways allow the visitor to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the waterfalls and lakes. Our hike, which included stopping for photos, lasted 2 hours, and we selected a short trail. We could easily have spent a full day at the Park. There were four of us and we agreed that we had never seen a place like Plitvice.

The only negative was the Property description, indicating...

The only negative was the Property description, indicating that the lakes are a 15 minute walk from the Villa. This should read that it is a 15 minutes walk to the entrance of the woods, after which there is about a 2km walk to Plitvice Lake Entrance 2 where you buy your tickets!

The Plitvice Lakes National Park is an amazing natural wonder. We walked part of the E route and all of the F route. We accessed this from Entrance #2. Each route was very well signed. We highly recommend making a full day stop here and staying at a B&B close by.

The waterfalls were amazing.

The waterfalls were amazing. The color of the lake water was so clear, looked like glass. Rustiic boardwalks next to waterfalls added to the experience. Path markings made it easy to to find way around park.

Everything was very nice - moderately priced, friendly staff, comfortable room and good food. The only negative was the shower - water pressure was extremely fluctuating and the hot water came and went very frequently in the time it took to take my shower.

I would recommend Route C for the best views.

I would recommend Route C for the best views. We hiked Route K and we felt like there was unnecessary hiking involved. We brought snacks in with us as you never know when you will be hungry. After consulting with park staff, we were able to come up with a plan.

Bora, our host was so lovely and welcoming. We had a separate entrance away from their private residence to our lovely room with a little balcony. I feel it is unfair to compare these lovely homes to usual hotels rooms/ stays. We were welcomed into Bora's home, and it felt like visiting a member of the family. It was cosy, clean, and comfortable, and Bora was close by to ask for anything we needed and to chat about life in Croatia . It was a very special experience.

The staff!!!! Oh my goodness. We all felt so incredibly welcomed day and night. What beautiful people are working there. There are a few animals at a petting zoo and my kids loved billiards. On sight restaurant always open is a plus. Great location for Plitvice park and one employee walked us through some options for visiting the park. We even left our car at the hotel and walked to the park. Great spot.

A great location to stay pretty much right at the entrance of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Bathroom is basic, but comfortable beds and room was clean. All you need to explore the region for a couple of nights. Breakfast was a short walk at the next hotel and was lovely. Dinner options within walking distance too. Great if you have a car for parking. Would stay again.

The hotel is very well situated, at 7 km from Entrance 1 Plitvice and at 2,5 km from the bus station Mukinje. We didn't have a car, so we walked from the bus station and in the morning we took a taxi to Plitvice. The host was very nice and friendly, she helped us with all the information we needed and she called a taxi for us in the morning.
