We received a very warm welcome by the owner and enjoyed sitting with him and the other guests to share a drink in the evening. The apartment was spacious, superbly renovated and tastefully finished with everything that you could need. There is a pretty seating area outside where we enjoyed eating our breakfast under the fragrant wisteria pergola. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from the small town of Gradac where we enjoyed supper at the pizzaria.

At the arrival we were welcomed by owners with warm welcome and quick tour with clear info what is where and also with bottle of Orechovica and some water and juices in fridge. So it was great right of the start. Rooms were nice clean and cozy. In kitchen we had all utensils we needes and everything was working fine. To the beach it was like 50meters and there were a lot of restaurants ice-cream shops along whole beach. Parking was not near apartment but short walk wont hurt anybody. When someone parked at our spot, homeowner quickly resolved situation. Overall it was great to be there with a family. Nice and relaxing. If we will go to same area in future we will gladly return here. PS: one evening when we have returned from beach, owners suprised us with full bowl of Palačinky(pancakes/crepes) with figa marmelade. And they were delicious.

Gradac has a beautiful beach.

Gradac has a beautiful beach. It is probably few kilometers long, and the old trees leaning over the beach create a rich shade throughout the day. In the morning, we walked along the beach all the way to the end of the trail by the sea. At night, we enjoyed our long walks through the town. The entire place is very bright and lively. Restaurants and cafes look like luxurious places from the fancy magazines. Gradac is definitely a great place everyone should visit in summer.

An ideal place to relax.

An ideal place to relax. Lots of space on the beaches, possibility of using natural shade under the trees on the beach. Many restaurants with very tasty food. Medium sized supermarkets are available. The town is quiet, for families with children and those looking for a break from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend it.

Gradac is small city, so: pharmacy is available, lot of restaurants to choose, some shops to choose. Beach is long with a lot of different parts offering different features (stones/almost sand, steeper/gentle gradual, ...). Expect that restaurants do not accept cards, except few of them. Bigger city Podaca nearby and delta of Neretva rivier also. Traffic on main road through city was adequate to end of Makarska riviera = not too much, but still there. A lot of facilities for childrens.

Gradac is a very nice town by the sea.

Gradac is a very nice town by the sea. The beach can be at times crowded, at least where I preferred to go, especially on the weekend. Swimming is excellent and the town offers a lot of things to do or to sea. There is a great number of restaurants on both sides of the town. Also, there are several supermarkets in Gradac as well. It is easy to get around Gradac.

Not a big, but a charming town. No crowds on the beach and in the city itself (stay in the second half of August). Great choice of restaurants. The promenade along the sea continues through the entire town, allowing you to reach other towns along the sea (Brist, Podaca). A small port from which you could go on a cruise ship, among others on Korcula.

Small town with basic services.

Small town with basic services. No tourist service, even tourist office was there, they told us not provide the service. We wanted to go on boat trip, but for 8 days we were not able to find anybody who would care.

A charming little town with breathtaking scenery, especially when driving along the coastal road from Split to Gradac. The hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel very welcome. The apartment was spotless, well-maintained, and ideally located – just a short walk to beautiful beaches. Private parking was available right near the house, even suitable for a minibus. A perfect spot for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Highly recommended

It was a budget stay in low season and we got excellent value for money. Nice view from the balcony, sufficient space, comfortable and clean. There’s a garage for your car which is easy to enter, the accommodation is easy to find. The host is very friendly and helpful. We stayed here 1 night during a roadtrip around Croatia but next time we will stay longer! The city is beautiful to walk around, the beach is amazing, calm and clean (end of May).

Another lovely stay in this apartment. Close to the beach and restaurants, but tucked away. Unlike most other apartments, this one has everything you could possibly need (and a lovely friendly owner). Gradac is very laid-back and worth staying at least a few days. I recommend the walk along the coast to Brist and also the track up the mountain to the Vrisje viewpoint. I will definitely come back for yet another visit.

The village itself is quiet and relaxed. The hotel has good location at the beach, easy to access by car and a small grocery store nearby. It's a small boutique hotel with nice staff and many places to relax. We had a stunning view from our room. It was possible to enjoy sunset every night from our own balcony.
