Apart from all 10 points above, I must say that fitness room is just wonderful, clean, spacious, with all necessary equipment. Service was excellent. Upon late arrival staff took care and left us some sandwiches in the fridge. Also, because of our honeymoon, we found a fruit basket with champagne and honey desert. When I asked if they had softer pillows, as I felt my pillow was a bit too hard, they delivered to the room a soft and comfortable pillow for me straight away. Overall, everything was just perfect: cleaning, service, beach. I don’t think you need more for a perfect and relaxing vacation. We will come again! Thank you!!!

Our experience at Nalu resort&spa was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is perfectly located right in front of a beautiful, clean beach—just a few steps from the room, which made our stay incredibly relaxing. The staff was warm, helpful, and always available for anything we needed. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a lovely balcony with a sea view. The breakfast was fresh and varied, with plenty of delicious options every morning. We also loved how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beachside escape with great service and comfort. We will definitely come back!

The hotel and its facilities are excellent. The staff is very nice, rooms are big enough, there are 2 swimming pools and 2 bars plus the beach with the sea. Still, on top of this their restaurant is the most excellent - extreme wide variety of foods, very good quality and every night they offer a dedicated cuisine (like seafood, bbq, japanese food etc.). Most of the guests are from Germany, there were some from UK and the rest is not much.

The road access to the hotel isn't the most scenic, as it involves following paths, passing under bridges, and encountering numerous garbage containers. However, the effort is well rewarded upon arrival, with the added bonus of covered parking – a welcome bit of shade!

There were a couple of very good places to eat and lots of markets. It is a small village, from where you can take a bus to a bigger town. There are no bus numbers or times at the bus stops, if you can find out from someone, that's OK, you have to buy bus tickets at the market, price 1.60 You could buy a voucher for excursions in a bigger town and they picked you up in Stavromenos, about 1.2 km from the hotel

Stravomenos is not easily accessible due to the state of the roads, especially at night. It's a village with very little to offer. You have to go to the neighboring village of Platanias or Rethymnon, 6 km away.

I really liked Stravomenos because it's located in a quiet...

I really liked Stravomenos because it's located in a quiet area, yet convenient for getting around. During the day, I ate at the places where I went on excursions, and in the evening I ate at the Hotel Blue Dream because the food was exceptional and the owners are wonderful people.

Stavromenos isn't very far from Rethymno, about 10 km, which influenced our choice, especially since we had a car for the entire duration of our stay. In the end, we only drove through Stavromenos without stopping, except of course to stay at the Nautica Hotel.

Wonderful hotel, peaceful, amazing pool, beautiful sunsets, comfortable apartments, playground for the children, easy access to the beach, clear sea water, very friendly staff. Eleftheria and her daughter were perfect hosts, always available to give us recommendations. We traveled with 2 small children and they loved the hotel, they didn't want to leave. It was a pleasure to spend five nights at Nautica hotel. We recommend it 100%.

The last week of April we stayed with the whole family (7 persons) in the Velvet Breeze Villa in Stavromenos. It was a great experiens. A marvellous house, a splendid garden, a lovely swimmingpool and a amazing vieuw. From a friendly welcome with a welcome meal from Thomas up to a nice farewell-souvenir (little olive trees) from Kiki. a unforegettable stay. Dijkstra Family (NL)
