The room was great, the views were amazing, the bathroom big and clean. The breakfast very diverse and tasty with a lovely terrace to eat in by the pool. The staff members were very welcoming and helpful.

perfect location and quiet. large, clean community kitchen. Short distance from Matala, but even halfway there you find nice beaches, and less noisy. Loads of local restaurants, a really good bakery, and local shops.

Paradise Matala is very well located. We have been here before and we can only recommend the place. Super clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast and a great pool. We booked a room in July and we could not come to Matala. We live in Crete, so we asked to come at a later date. Giorgos was so kind to let us come in October. Here you find real Cretan hospitality. We love it!

Beautiful room with balcony, quiet and comfortable sleeping, fridge available, aircondition working, good cleaning every day, good breakfast, very friendly staff, 2 mins walk to the beautiful beach. Many restaurants and souvenir shopping nearby (handmade stuff also available). Matala is peaceful, live music in one of the pubs in the evening (hotel is located quiet, but central 5 min walking distance to everything)

Nice old school hotel (in good condition, clean). Very pleasant service (people on site, cleaners every day), beautiful views, beach right next to the hotel, no extra charge (dog stay, beach umbrellas). Parking available, wifi works. At first we booked for one night, but we stayed for two more because this hotel and location are a real gem of the southern region. Don't imagine 5 stars (with pools, free alcohol and massage), it's 4 stars and very very good. We have stayed in about 30 hotels across Crete and this one is a really good choice for this region - price/quality ratio, attitude, location on the beach. The funniest thing is that 10 km away is Matala (oversaturated with tourists and expensive) and then you discover such a gem as Kalamaki, kilometers of empty sandy beach right in front of the hotel, and no tourist traps, You have here really authentic taverns, a few cute shops, a beautiful village right on the beach. I've just told you a secret :) And thanks to the hotel owners who organized a very nice free lunch for the guests on Easter.

Very good contact with the ovner Mrs. Tarsia! Tarsia is very supportive. The rooms are typically cretan style, simple but extremely clean. The kitchen area is very good equipped. Very safe location. Close to the beach. Vis a vis - swimming pool. All you need for a comfortable stay 💯 Thank you!

Wonderful accommodation with a beautiful terrace, very tastefully decorated. Breakfast is fantastic, they make you fresh coffee from the machine (no cheap coffee). Parking 3 minutes from the accommodation, they allowed us to park there all day and on the day of departure. Owners fanatical :)

    If you are looking for a real Greek town this is not the place. The town is adapted for tourism, especially is full of Germans. If you don't want to live a real Greek experience and have an easy holiday speaking German or English, this is your call.

    Sivas is a very atmospheric mountain village.

    Sivas is a very atmospheric mountain village. There are two churches, several bars and restaurants, a butcher and a couple of craft shops. Our favourite restaurant was Vafos. When we ate in the evening we came to the village on foot. The walk back is downhill and I would recommend carrying a torch if it is dark, just to make yourselves more visible, though there is very little traffic. The only time parking in Sivas was an issue was Sunday when there was a big service at church on the left as you go into the village from Vidakis. The centre is very compact and easy to walk around. Freshly baked bread is delivered to the mini-market every morning.
