We loved the view over the roof tops and the partial sea view. The staff were exceptionally friendly and indulged my attempts at Greek for which many thanks! The breakfast was pretty good. We are vegan and it can be hard to cater for us but we didn't go hungry, and we provided our own plant milk. The hotel is very central but also quiet. A wonderful place to stay.

At first we were disappointed in general, before we entered the hotel (far from the sea, behind the road). But then everything changed. A luxurious hotel, garden, pool and service from Nektarios (the owner). We got the best salad in the world I have ever eaten as a welcome, every morning cups of fruit of outstanding taste. We have never experienced such care from the hotel owner (!). An invitation to dinner in a non-touristy typical restaurant, the next day a trip to the mountains for a private party in the middle of nowhere! Nektarios showed us all the interesting places to go. He recommended the palm beach of Vai (the best of all, although there were a lot of tourists, but it was possible, you can climb over the rock and you are alone) and the deserted ones. So swimming in the sea was good in the end. It was an experience like staying with a friend, a friend who loves you. And we thank him (his wife and others) very much for these three days in his beautiful hotel.

We travel a lot and have stayed in countless accommodations, but to be honest, I don’t know if I’ve ever been to a better value-for-money stay. The apartment is huge, spotless, well-furnished, and has a penthouse feel to it. It’s perfect for a whole family or a group of friends. The furnishings are modern and in great condition. Our host, Olga, is very kind, flexible, and helpful. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Sitia, look no further. We’ll definitely stay here again whenever we visit Crete.
