The accommodation was large and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. The AC was new, well positioned and worked excellently. The room opens onto a long balcony with stunning views (and even more stunning sunsets). The bed was very comfortable and the shower strong and hot. The apartment was spotlessly clean and met all my expectations from the Booking.com website. Parking is available and free. The host, Lefteris, was kind and helpful. It is only a short drive down to the beach and a local taverna - family run - and arguably the best food I have had in Crete. This area of Crete is very special and easy to explore. The perfect stay.

Sapphire Horizon is a hidden gem in Kissamos and highly recommended for all types of holidays, whether as a couple or a family like us. It was the perfect base for us to visit the nearby top beaches such as Balos, Elafonisi, and Falassarna, and to enjoy dinner in Kissamos or at a nearby taverna in the evenings. What stood out most was the exceptionally friendly and service-oriented staff – true to the motto “small but excellent.” The breakfast was great, with something for everyone, and even snacks during the day were available. Very nice place, very good local food and drinks at the open bar, two pools where You can swim or just chill :) Close to the shore, very nice spot to see the sunrise near the hotel. Really nice people, they treat You like a friend or family and help if You need anything. Good spot to travel further west or south on Crete, close enough to airport and Chania city. Definitely going there again! :D

The breakfast was delicious, love to meet Lucy and the owner who is also an animal lover, everything is so well designed, well use of the space. Beautiful swimming pool with some bubble bad part, a few submerged sits. Great lighting at night. The beach just in front with parasol and sits included. Breakfast was delicious and workers are lovely and authentic which is something I appreciate and it also shows thegreat working ambiance. The room beautiful big also well designed. We walked to the restaurants and we took some tours to balos (bus) from the hotel. We took a taxi to falaserna as i don’t like driving. Awesome! We miss it already
