First of all the staff did it's best to accommodate our needs. There were 2 situation that reinforced this but I'll mention only one. During a chat with one of the receptionists we told her we have not managed to book a local attraction (that was rather important) and we'll not be able to experience it. Although we have not asked them to help us (we didn't even think it was possible), until the evening of the same day we were called that they were able to find a way to book it for us. The rooms are spacious, very nicely furnished, modern and tastefully. The location is very near to everything of interest: souvenier shops, restaurants and the biggest (as far as I can tell) parking lot in Preveza (like 100 meters away from the hotel) which is important because in the center of Preveza there are almost no hotels with parking lot (but it's better to arrive before 19:00 or you will have to wait to find a free spot). The included breakfast is served at a nearby location (10 meters) and it's fixed menu (there are 2 menus that are not great, nor bad except for the coffee which is...well...very diluted). The bathrooms are also very nice and modern and the water pressure and temperature were always very adequate.

Location is a very short walk from the waterside and Port Wall where all the sailing boats tie up for the evening / week. This makes for a very lively atmosphere. The hotel is located close to lots of tasteful bars and restaurants - perfect location.

I liked how attractive the owner of business was. Very kind, warm and thoughtful. We were there for a wedding and they did allow the bridal party to get ready there. It was amazing experience. I loved Perveza. It is beautiful small town, with a lot of reach and spical cultural treasures. That was the only spot that I could watch both sun rise and the sunset on the beach.

Preveza town itself is one main street leading from the...

Preveza town itself is one main street leading from the motorway up past the bus station and on to larger areas of Greece. Then there is a middle walking route with a parade of shops, some touristy, but overall a mixture, with small tavernas leading to the central cathedral; there is a lovely bakery just past there! Then the promenade along where the many yachts are parked next to the large bay area. You can take a boat trip from here to see dolphins and turtles. There is very little in the way of historic areas, other than on the outskirts past the bus station where you will find ruins and the Archaeological Museum. There is a small secluded beach to the far end of the promenade, where they play boules and you can relax on sunbeds. There is an old castle of sorts in this area and large trees to hide from the midday sun during peak summer.

Gorgeous area to visit. Preveza is a buzzing little classy town with beautiful traditional streets lined with shops & restaurants. The port areas are fun to walk around. Nice beaches nearby and plenty to do.

This was my first time in Preveza and I was pleasantly...

This was my first time in Preveza and I was pleasantly surprised. The city offers nice walkable streets with small shops. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes with delicious and inexpensive food. The tourists are mainly greeks which I see as a sign that the area is worth visiting. There a many beautiful beaches. The streets are a bit confusing, Google will guide you to streets that are too small for a car, some of the roundabouts are not even marked.

Preveza is the hub of the Ionian if you are a boatie.

Preveza is the hub of the Ionian if you are a boatie. Its a very pretty town with lots of facilities if you want a Mediterranean holiday with out the "Greek Islands" Holiday prices. Beaches a walking distance from town. You can do lots of tours and siteseeing from here - a 4 hour bus ride from Athens and you can be basking in the salt rich bath water temperature of the Mediterranean Sea.

It's nice both as a center and as a base to explore the area. Preveza itself is a working coastal town, quite small and there's not much in the town for more than a few days. The port area is fully modernised however with numerous fashionable cafes, bars and trendy clothes shops. Also, top quality locally sourced seafood in the numerous Tavernas - Preveza is rightly famous for prawns - fill your boots!!! You will need a car to visit the abundant local historical and scenic attractions, most of which are max 1 hour away. It's not really for a 'young children' holiday, but if you like history, the natural world, and beautiful areas it is a fantastic base camp. Don't come here if you want Spanish Anglo style food/bars/clubs. This is proper Greece. Warm, relaxed, friendly locals and of course completely safe.

Lovely apartments in Mitikas. Walkable to a number of local restaurants and only 10 mins drive to Preveza (taxis are not expensive if you don't have a car) The apartments are very modern and clean, breakfast was brilliant made up of pastries from a local bakery and fruit, both in large quantities and often enough to last for lunch aswell. The staff were very friendly and attentive and wanted to ensure we had the best stay. There are also two beaches within walking distance. Overall a lovely place and would recommend highly.

Alexandra and her husband are truly amazing hosts. We felt so pampered by them, when we arrived there was already food and fruit in the fridge, very thoughtful and a pleasant surprise after the trip. The apartment is lovely, spacious enough to allow privacy for a family with adult children such as ours, Very quiet neighbourhood, 10 minutes from Monolithi beach, we would recommend Ionio beach bar, amazing service and affordable, well-made food. Preveza is also 10 minutes drive, a lovely town to spend the evenings.
