For us, it truly felt like home. We loved the authentic Greek atmosphere of the house — so genuine and comfortable. Katerina is a warm and wonderful host. She cleaned our room every single day, brought us lemons and oranges from her garden, and greeted us with a smile every time we interacted, always asking if we needed anything else. She even washed and ironed our clothes — who does that? :) The village itself is an authentic Greek mountain gem. We loved the cats, the sound of the rooster at dawn, and the peaceful evenings spent in the yard, surrounded by the incredible scents of trees and flowers. Our little balcony overlooking the garden was a true delight. We had breakfast there each morning and watched the sun set behind the mountains in the evening. We will absolutely come back.

Separate house for a large family vacation with all amenities. 2 separate bedrooms - for adults and children, 2 separate bathrooms, spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Very hospitable hosts, treated us with fruits and vegetables from their vegetable garden and fresh eggs. The location is very good - near several beaches, from local beaches to Antisamos, 20 minutes by car - Myrtos, also 20 minutes to the capital island. 2 great grill restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend this house for a vacation.

The little house is very cozy and welcoming! It is situated in a quiet village and very well placed regarding the distances to the beaches in this part of the island and taverns. The owner, Elena, is very warm and helpful; after 3 days of staying we received fresh towels, shits and they cleaned into the house (we never had this type of facility when booking a house at this price, so it was a nice surprise), the yard was constantly kept tidy. We will definitely choose it again when we return to Kefalonia!

Lovely apartment with great views across the harbour. Sami is a perfect location for accessing the rest of the island. There are several good restaurants - we can recommend Tereza, Deco and Il Familia in particular. We are hikers and the island has lots of trails with fantastic views over hills, valleys and the sea; an abundance of wildflower meadows was a major bonus. Try the small maritime museum just outside Sami : the owner has built a fantastic collection of replica boats of the past 3000 years.
