The house had everything we needed. Attention to details was given. There were extra bed linen, towels , pillows etc. Quite and relaxing environment, beautiful view. Very good communication with our host. All in all a memorable stay.

The sea view is amazing, exactly as pictured, and it's wonderful to start or finish the day out on the balcony, with the sea and sky stretching into the distance. The room was very comfortable and the linen was regularly refreshed by the courteous and friendly staff. Everything was also spotlessly clean (with the exception of the crockery in the kitchenette, which most guests probably don't use). Breakfast is buffet style with a range of options including fried eggs and sausages, toasted sandwiches, omelettes, cheese pies, muesli, yoghurt, bread- which you can enjoy sitting right by the sea in the hotel's Aramis cafe. It is just 2/3 minutes walk to the lovely beach at Platania, with the gorgeous Mikro beach a short hike further round the coast. Platanias village also has two good mini-markets and several tavernas offering something to suit everyone.

The house was greatly located, close to the beach and to the supermarkets and tavernas. It was clean, always fresh (a super plus when it is super hot outside!) and with a nice balcony to enjoy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend Platanias and Tanias House :)

The guesthouse is recently renovated, with great taste both inside and outside, materials used seem to be of very high quality. Bathroom is very spacious, beds are comfy (although they are more on the sturdy side, but this is something we like). They cleaned our room every 2 days, during our stay towels were changed twice, and sheets once. The room had a balcony with a lovely sea view, and especially enjoyable summer breeze in the evening. There is a tavern next to the guesthouse where we enjoyed delicious greek food, the tavern is open from 8am to 10pm. The prices are moderate for 2024 (souvlaki 8 euros, moussaka as well, fish and other sea food ranges from 10 to 16 euros). Since it's situated right across Skiathos, there is a water taxi that goes from Katigiorgis harbor which is 15mins away by car. The price for water taxi is 20 euros per person per way, and usually it goes twice within every hour. Overall we had a really pleasant stay and we will definitely return sooner rather than later.

This villa is simply perfect! In every way. There is so much space, complete silence around (the villa is located on a hill with no neighbors nearby). The host explains everything in detail, and even if you still have questions, he is always available. The house has EVERYTHING – and that’s no exaggeration. Absolutely everything you might need. An ideal home. In addition, there is a wonderful beach and a great restaurant nearby, both within walking distance.

    Very small village far from any other place in Pilio.

    Very small village far from any other place in Pilio. The round is very heavy and if you want to come up somewhere else for a walk, you need to count on, at least, 30 minutes driving to the nearest village in one direction (for example, Milina). There are only 4 restaurants and 2 cafes and that's it. You have 200m of road for an evening walk. So, it can be very boring.

    Platanias is a fantastic place for family holidays as it is...

    Platanias is a fantastic place for family holidays as it is reachable by car and very near an organised beach. We went on a day boat cruise to Skiathos and visited other places in Pilion. Our favourite place for dinner was Drosero Akrogiali and my favourite dish pasta with anchovies.
