the staff was the best - we are a family of twelve and they did everything for us. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was very good. The restaurant is also great and I had the best desert of my life (citrus). Best holiday ever.

The location is perfect, the view is amazing. The room is spacious and very clean. The staff was very service oriented, and breakfast was delicious. The massage we booked was absolutely perfect, I would highly recommend it. And no need to bring your beach towel, you will get them from the hotel.

Amazing views and a really nice pool also there’s a restaurant owned by them right across the road that has everything you need. Has spacious rooms and bathrooms and is also 15 minutes away from one of the most beautiful and famous lakes in Europe its absolutely stunning would highly recommend also really good price

Nektarios is a fantastic host, he makes sure you feel welcome. I was welcomed with home-made lemonade and delicious fresh fruits and I received lots of help and support from him during my unfortunately very short stay. The room was very nice, spacious and the balcony had lovely seaview.

Stayed in villa Olive from 21/06/2024 to 05/07/2024, it has a big terrace with views of the mountains and the lovely pool. Vamos in the western part of Crete feels more authentic than the eastern part were we stayed previously. There are many restaurant's within a short stroll from the villa serving authentic Cretan food. Also beaches are very easy assessable within a 15 to 20 minute drive.     Plaka and surrounding areas is a beautiful quiet and relaxing place. Short walk to restaurants and stunning views. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the place to be. Beautiful beaches and Chania Old Town and Venetian Harbour a short drive away.

    Plaka is equipped with 2 mini markets which provide all basic necessities; larger supermarkets available in Kalyves and Souda. We ate a number of times in Plaka, Elpis restaurant being our favourite with excellent food and lovely staff. Taki’s is also very good.

    Plaka is beautiful and very traditional. Excellent restaurants closeby. Amazing views across to Almyrida and also views of the mountain. We loved all of the restaurants and had great food in the four thst we went to. We had great souvlaki and moussaka. House wine in all were really good. We used the pool in Emerald apartments and just brought drinks while we were there, the view from the pool wS amazing. Very easy to get round Plaka, however we never walked back from Almyrida as it is very steep so had a taxi, 6 euros.

    Plaka is a beautiful spot that has stunning views of the coast and Almyridia. It has a great selection of local restaurants and shops and is only a short walk down to the busier strip of restaurants, facilities and beaches. We had the most amazing time and the hosts could not do enough for us, it was so wonderful. A true home-from-home with special touches along the whole trip. I would highly recommend it to anyone asking. We will definitely revisit the special accommodation that we found in Plakias also, a great place to tour around the Chania region and beyond in Creta.

    Plaka is a sweet little village close to beaches.

    Plaka is a sweet little village close to beaches. It feels more authentic that staying in the resort areas and the restaurants are more traditional and much better prices! We found Plaka to be a very good base for exploring this part of Crete - it is only half an hour into Chania and it is also possible to drive to lots of beaches in a few minutes, one of them is only a ten minute walk away.

    Plaka was the perfect location to capture views and set back...

    Plaka was the perfect location to capture views and set back from the busy tourist area of Almyrida Beach...It offers amenities such as a couple of super markets (walkable) and restaurants. It is a short drive to a main highway for easy access to beaches and roads to South side of the island. While Chania is a historic and iconic city, we were glad that we did not stay there - there are cruise ships that port there and bring in lots of tourists. Plaka is only 30 minutes from the airport and was the perfect location for our plans to hike, see ruins, experience various beaches and authentic villages.

    My mother and son found the apartment clean and pretty. There was a lovely little basket full of food for breakfast in the kitchen area. The owner was more than helpful, and very kind as she arranged pick up and drop offs to the airport . The location was in a quiet village which suited my mother . It was within walking distance to restaurants and local shops. The apartment had lovely views. They would definitely recommend staying here.

    Exceptional service & delicious breakfast. The staff is very friendly & very helpful. The studio was spacious & the sofa bed was very comfortable. The facilities were clean & spotless. There is a calm atmosphere - a perfect destination for relaxing by the pool or visiting Almyrida nearby (approx. 15-20 minutes walk). Would highly recommend!

    The view from the balcony and the pool area is amazing! The room was clean and had everything we needed. Comfy bed. The location is great, in a calm area, but within walking distance of a few supermarkets and good restaurants (and also the beach in Almyrida).
