Location is very calm, hotel is right on the private beach with nice beach bar and free deck chairs for guessts. About 3min walking there is a boat departure from where you can take boat right to the centre of Thessaloniki (about 20min long cruise). Food was really good, amazing variety and also a lot of typical greek foods 👍 But what I personally appreciate the most is the stuff. Everybody was so nice, always smiling, very patient and so polite. I will miss this place and I can really recommend :)

    Perea is a lovely destination if you enjoy sandy beaches.

    Perea is a lovely destination if you enjoy sandy beaches. The beach bars along the coast are perfect for chilling out and spending lazy days by the sea. For more activities or sightseeing, you’ll need to go outside Perea. It’s relatively well connected, but don’t expect fast or very frequent transport. Still, it’s a great spot if your priority is sun, sand, and a seaside vibe. Nomad and Abuelos are perfect beach / brunch bars and Taverna Thalassopoulia a great Greek restaurant.

    I would not recommend Perea beach as a holiday destination.

    I would not recommend Perea beach as a holiday destination. The beach means a narrow piece of land. The sand is dirty, there is rubbish everywhere even in the water. The sea si full of sea weed. There are no water sports in the area. There are paid sunbeds that we did not use. However, the restaurants are good and the food is cheap.

    At the time of our stay, it wasn't overcrowded, and a lot of local people were frequent visitors to the beach. The town is kind of suburbia of Thessaloniki, and it is close to the big shopping malls and all that Thessaloniki can offer. The atmosphere is more casual both during the daytime, as well as during nights.

    Great place, both relaxing and full of life. Lots of places where you can eat local and international cuisine, bars on the beach, tavernas with Greek music. Close to Thessaloniki, 15-20 minutes drive.

    A typical small town.

    A typical small town. Its main advantage is the location — close to the airport, Thessaloniki, and Halkidiki. We used it as a base and traveled frequently: to Pozar Baths, Edessa, Thessaloniki, Mount Olympus, and Thermi (where my sister lives). There isn't much to do in Perea itself, but the accommodation offered a great value for the price, which worked well for us.

    Perea is a convenient location for travelers by plane. Not far from the airport, some nice hotels, bars, taverns next to the beach and you avoid the heavy traffic and the difficult parking of Thessaloniki.

    Facilities were nice and clean, all the staff were really social, positive and friendly, beach was excellent with free sunbeds and generally very clean shore, breakfast was fine and varied enough, and the location of the hotel is super as restaurants, shops, markets, bars, and water bus to Thessaloniki were really close and getting to or back from the city or vineyards nearby with taxi (uber) or bus were handy and cheap.

    It was very clean and tidy, everything worked perfectly, the bed was comfortable, everything was great for a short stay of one or two nights, it was perfect for us with Perea being so close to Thessaloniki airport. Parking was not a problem and we managed to park easily under the apartments balcony on the street below. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay of 2 nights.

    Very nice and new hotel ! (They said the open two months ago) The hotel is close to Thessaloniki and outside from the city traffic. The beds were very comfy and the breakfast was very good, there is also a big parking right in front. The bar restaurant at the top is definitely a wow, you can see from there Thessaloniki. The personal was also very kind and helfull!

    If I could give a higher rating I would, the apartment is beautiful and perfectly situated 25 steps from the sea!! Right beside the pier for the boat to Thessaloniki and with many cafes and restaurants near by. Everything that you need for a lovely stay in Perea and our host was so helpful and very quick to respond. A huge recommendation from me.
