Enjoyed our time there in spite of very high temperatures that didn`t allow for comfortable sleep , with or without aircon being used. Hotel close to beach and restaurants and shops .Parking is 100 metres away and is free. Breakfast was great and substantial and the staff cheerful . We have been before and will go again .

Everything. great Pool. Lovely room. great varied Breakfast. BBQ. drinks in the bar and chats with the family and team who work hard make this hotel a real gem we return to time and time again. we LOVED the impromptu karaoke party for my 88 years old mum and will return next year :-)

Myrtos is a charming and authentic village on the southern coast of Crete. The apartment is exceptional—spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped for a longer stay. It offers free Wi-Fi, and every room has its own air-conditioning unit, which makes the stay very pleasant even on hot days. The location is outstanding, just about fifty meters from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and bakeries within walking distance. The hosts are especially kind and always ready to help with anything that comes up. At the end of our stay, we received lovely gifts as a souvenir of Myrtos and our time at Fota’s Home.

Everything was perfect for us. We would definitely book this again. Nice owners, located directly at the seaside promenade. A large and calm atrium. You even have an own table, chairs and a umbrella at the seafront. We booked both apartments. The left one is smaller as shown on the pictures, the right one is spacious. Good beds and comfortable couches, large bathroom. Furniture is new and clean. We did not miss a thing.

the owner and his apartment manager were both there ,owner has the diver business there as well,,spoke good english .apartment had everything you needed for a nice holiday marias supermarket 2 mins walk and a big supermarket chain there too,a good deli with meat cheese ,a bakery all in the same corner of street ,parking along the road ,,so we had a good time there ,,our 1st visit to southern crete ,,we will be back ,as only 75 mins drive by car from malia

Myrtos is a busy little town with parking just on the outskirts. Interesting streets with lots of shops and cafes, so good to walk around and explore. Beach front cafes to sit and watch the world go by. Choice of many tavernas for food and drink.

Mirtos is a small, very friendly village.

Mirtos is a small, very friendly village. Great tavernas and bars. Several local shops for necessities. Lovely beach but sea can be a bit rough at times. A trip up to the villages in the mountains is a must. Have travelled around crete for 30 years but the past 7, been coming here. Mirtos has stolen our hearts !!

I liked everything and I wish I could stay more. Myrtos is a small town in South Crete. It is a charming place with good, helpful and generous people. The food is delicious, the sun shines and the sky is blue.

An excellent little village which combines sea and mountain...

An excellent little village which combines sea and mountain activities. Relaxing place with a huge beach with trees. But please discover Myrtos on foot! So many paths start in this village, some of them are easy, around nearby hills; some you need to carry extra water to visit Mithi village or Sarakinas gorge. There is the Minoan settlement of Pyrgos and much more. We will surely come back to the beautiful village of Myrtos full of magnolia trees.

I liked Mirtos when it wasn't so full.

I liked Mirtos when it wasn't so full. I also liked the fact that they try to discourage card entering the village so it's safer for padestrians. Unfortunately, it has become very popular and it's too small to accommodate the amount of visitors that it gets.

Mirtos is a small village, that we feel, is unspoiled by tourism. There are several tavernas, all serving delicious food. A few small bars have greek music nights. If you are looking for night clubs or kareoke nights, this is not the village for you. But, it is our favourite !!!

Michalis was very helpful. The room was very clean, though small, and the outdoor terrace (ground floor) was perfect as we had a dog with us. The internet was very challenging, but Michalis tried his best to fix it, several times, and offered a different room with better internet, which we declined as we preferred the ground floor for the dog. Very convenient for walking to the beach, restaurants, etc. and we always found parking right by the hotel. The kitchenette has basic cooking materials and works just fine.

Be careful what you wish for. The balcony was tiny and the view of the sea just a glimpse through buildings but they were there. Room was comfortable enough and we slept reasonably. Very central small hotel with exceptionally good breakfast. Satisfactory parking approximately 250 meters from the hotel. Very good strong Wi Fi. Good value for money.

Excellent Location, it is in the center of Myrtos but it is absolutely quiet, no noise at all!! And everithing it is so close, beach, super market, restaurants. Super clean, I have never met such a clean room and bathroom!! Perfect staff always with a smile!! The roof terrace is a dream!!

I have stayed in Myrtos many times. This was one of the best apartments I have used. Very comfortable for my family. Kitchen with full equipment, so we can prepare food for our baby. Sofa bed with extra bed rail. Huge garden to relax of for kids to play.
