I loved everything about this hotel. At first sight - we just thought that everything was beautiful and clean. But then we realized that this hotel really cares about their guests and the service is really out of this world. Chris, that was in the reception majority of the time that we stayed there, always aimed for us to have the best time even though it rained while we stayed in the hotel for a majority of our visit. She and her colleagues always greeted us with smiles, giving us tips about where to go and how to get to those places. I know that it doesn’t sound like it’s anything more than ”regular” service, but when you meet people that treat you so good as they treated us in a 5-star hotel (and mind you - that doesn’t happen often since we mainly stay at 5-star hotels) then you appreciate the whole trip in a complete other way. Also, me and my boyfriend have worked within hospitality and service during the majority of our careers and we know that good service takes energy and commitment. If the manager of this hotel sees this review - please tell everybody on your team how great they are! Because we will be back in the fall again (booked another visit day 2 of our stay). And (!) not to forget to mention the spa. I got a treatment from Maria Hanaroli down at the spa and it was amazing! If you stay at the hotel make sure to get a treatment with her to make your trip even more luxurious.

What an incredible experience! Before our stay I communicated with the staff and they were great at getting things organized with quick turnarounds. They ALL speak English and are happy to help. We did a last minute car rental, available on site. Gorgeous vehicle and so convenient. The restaurant was amazing! Definitely a 5 star, great food options. Everything we ate was delicious and well made. Service was excellent. Dessert was devine! The views were excellent from our patio AND the restaurant. ..... highly recommend this place!!!

Great hotel, The staff were first class. My gratitude to Ioanna, Kostas , Tony, and a special thank you to Galine, who was amazing. Tha rooms were fantastically clean, the location , close to everything yet ,very quite. Breakfast, if anything was far too plentifull, but very tasteful, and top quality . The breakfast was amazing. All food was presented in a very creative way, very different to other hotels. A la carte menu, which is included in the breakfast price, is amazing, with a lot of phantasy. And the location - beautiful. We loved completely everything about this place! Maria was so helpful, warm and friendly upon our late arrival, showed us around, and instantly made us feel truly welcomed. I cannot begin to describe how modern yet cozy the place is, clean and comfortable to the smallest detail. They have a beautiful blooming garden, with the most delicious breakfast served by another great hostess Dina under an avocado tree. Even though we only spent one day here, it was truly like a fairytale, and I’d return again (and hope to) in a heartbeat again and again. It’s a gem!!

This is a 100/10 review for Oniros. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, extremely clean with every amenity you could possibly imagine. The staff are so friendly and helpful (thanks George for all your travel suggestions). The location is by a port so gorgeous Aegan Sea views from the room and dining room. Also very conveniently located off a major highway so traveling by car to other areas of Crete was easy. As for the breakfast it is made to order by a chef! The quality and taste was so superb we ended up eating our dinners there too. If it could not get any better they realized it was my birthday so there was a bottle of wine in our room on arrival. And to make it even more special... the night before my birthday a gentle knock on my door was for a surprise birthday cake the chef made. Excellent service!

We enjoyed everything about this hotel, from the modern and sleek design of the rooms and lobby to the amazing services offered. Both the reception and the restaurant staff were attentive and very helpful. The breakfast had a great variety of delicious food, and some even changed daily. The pool wasn't very big, but considering the small number rooms it was more than enough, and there were plenty of sunbeds available at any time of the day. The beach is 1 min walk from the hotel and it has sand and clear water. Being in a little gulf, there were basically no waves even when the wind was picking up. The little town of Almyrida offers plenty of restaurants and cute shops and even has a nice gelato place. We even tried the gym, which had more than enough equipment for any type of exercise you want to do. Sadly, we didn't get to experience the sauna and spa for lack of time.
