The property is super clean, beautifully kept, great rooms, a nice bar, two lovely pools and across the road to a beach. The staff are wonderful particularly the reception lady who was genuinely interested in your experience and fantastic at making your stay the best. It was my first solo holiday and I booked it by accident. What a Great accident! This trip has given me back the confidence to travel alone. The hotel is geared towards giving you the choice of making friends or enjoying your own company. The people were lovely and I ended up going on a great trip with them. There is a mixture of ages but of course its luck so just go with an open mind as I did. As someone who travels a lot alone but never to a solo hotel it was brilliant to be around like minded people who you could go places with. It’s a little outside of the town which was not a problem at all as it’s a short bus ride anywhere. There is a reason so many people go back and I definitely will as well!!! If you go with an open mind you will have a fantastic time!!!

I had a great stay at Carisa Maleme. The Hotel is truly one of the best hotels in its price range. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome – the reception staff is extremely attentive and always ready to help, showing real professionalism. The hotel provides everything you might need for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The location and facilities are excellent. There are plenty of picturesque spots around the hotel. The beach is close. The sea was warm and clean. It's also less than 5 minute walk to a few restaurants, very convenient. Great value for money—can’t wait to come back!

Everything was clean, the room had everything we needed including a big relaxing bed perfect for resting, and a nice view of the pool which was also very clean and never crowded. There is also a bar and restaurant with a wide variety on food and drinks. Sandra was also very kind and helped us with everything we needed. All in all a great experience, thank you!

I stayed at the Ledra for some weeks back in 2016, they had just started a refurbishment of the rooms.. So impressed with the standard of the rooms…5 stars total, such comfortable rooms and lovely shower…Costas is still in the house and always goes the extra mile to make your stay perfect… I have recommended the Ledra to friends who are visiting Crete mid July..

Absolutely in love with this location. Its just a 6 minute walk to the sea, 5 minutes walk to a store thats open 7 days a week untill 23:30, nice familyrestaurant next to that (To Perasma). The bigger supermarket at 8 minutes walk (Synka) and with a car you can easily take several daytrips in the neighbourhood, like the WW2 tunnels, the Cave of Agia Sofia, Crete’s Botanical Park, Chania City. The house is spacious and has everything you need, it may not all be the newest, but it works just fine. It’s decorated with nice antiques and there’s a beautifully illustrated encyclopaedia from the 1930’s. At the terrace near the front door you can see and hear the sea in the distance and on the other side is the kitchen with a very big window and view over the mountains. Stefanos is a very attentive host and quick responder if you need help or have a question and speaks English pretty well, wich is also a plus. This is the fifth time we went to Crete’s for holiday, and enjoyed this holiday most of all, partly because we had everything we needed within reach instead of having to drive everywhere. Forgot to take pictures, only have one from during a storm.

The location was great for us. Even though we only stayed for 3 days, we enjoyed the excellent breakfast (diverse and quickly replenished when something ran out), the nice swimming pool, and the good restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly, and everything was clean. They cleaned our bathroom daily, despite our short stay, which I noticed some reviews had complained about. While the beach isn’t the best I’ve seen in Crete, it’s very close to the property (about 100-200 meters), and they offer free sunbeds and umbrellas.

Konstantina was such a great host! The place was so clean, felt like home. we had everything we needed, she was really helpful whenever we ask for something. The location was quiet, but I believe you need to rent a car, so you can easily go to Chania or other great beaches around because the nearest beach(50 meters away from the apartment) was a pebble beach and it was windy/really wavy during our stay, so we went to the other beaches around. We stayed for a short time but I will definitely visit again.

The staff were amazing friendly, very clean hotel and the food was the best. They did amazing Greek and Asian nights. The was entertainment every night. Me and my daughter were doing the water rides everyday and felt like I was a kid again. It was relaxing and amazing. We also tried the spa facilities and my wife and daughter loved it. The town is down the road using the motorway, easy access to Chania for and day or night visit. We visited Chania everyday, also good distance to Elafonisi.

The room is very spacious and newly renovated. It is clean with 2 balconies and we loved the jacuzzi on the roof, we were mostly alone there with no other people besides us. We loved how colorful the whole place was. The bus stop is very near where you can get a bus directly to Chania that comes every 20 min so the place is very well connected. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby and also a beach.
