We were offered delicious local Cretan treats on the day of arrival. The property is beautifully renovated, one of the nicest buildings in Kavousi. The owners have paid much attention to even the slightest detail. Kafenes is in a central, yet quiet location.

This review could be extremely long, I could write about the perfect room for us, the good breakfast, the proximity to everything, the very helpful and nice staff or the incredibly charming little daughter of the house (Alexandra). The view is simply amazing, the hosts are very warm and lovely people. The flats are spacious, the terrace amazing place. The pool is also a very cool addition if you don’t want to go to the beach. The place is a bit up a hill, so you do need a car if you mind walking, as you might get tired going up. For us this was not a problem. The kitchen is very well equipped, even if we used just the fridge as we preferred trying the taverna’s nearby. We loved that it’s not pretentious, it’s just beautiful place with breathtaking views of the sea and a lot of nice nature around the houses - olive trees, flowers etc. we would love to go back!

Our stay at villa Penelope was an excellent choice. The host was really hospitable. The house was clean and cozy and the view to the mountain was great. It is located in a quiet neighborhood in a traditional, picturesque village. It is really easy to find free parking space near the house. I will definitely choose villa Penelope for my next visit to the island.

As soon as I booked Androkini contacted us with all necessary information. All was perfect and lovely. The location is exceptional and we can park our car just in front of the house. Since we stayed 3 days we didn t use all utilities and ate at restaurants, but if you need to cook all is available in the house. Upstairs we have a bedroom with a nice balcony wich we enjoyed at night. All was perfect. Thank you.

Location overlooking the sea and sunset was incredible. House itself is very comfortable and has a great layout for any family or group. All facilities were in working order, we had more than we could have wished for in terms what we needed for the week's stay.
