Been there off-season. Best value for money we've ever had. Big rooms, nice pool, tasty breakfast and dinner at the nearby family owned reastaurant, all topped with a friendly and helpful host. All for a very very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

It's a spacious apartment with amazing view, close to restaurants, bus stop and about 10 minutes walk from the beach. The location is close to many attraction sites for us as a family like the aquarium and watercity. The air conditioners cool the bedrooms perfectly and overall the apartment has almost all the facilities. The hosts are really nice and friendly. They accepted early check-in with a short notice. They offered us fresh sweet figs from their garden in addition to welcome drinks and water bottle in the fridge. We enjoyed watching the stars and the clear sky at night from the roof . Highly recommended 👌

Lovely hotel, the staff couldn't have been nicer. Location within 5 minutes of the beach and shops. Pool was clean and modern, never had a problem getting a sunbed in early August. I'd definitely go back.

Good choice for a summer stay, at a very convenient spot near the main street and within 10 walking minutes from the beach. The small kitchen makes it possible to prepare basic meals if interested. Comfortable double bed. Maria was an exceptional host, always available to help with the necessary housekeeping.

We had such a wonderful week at Soho Blue Hotel in Crete! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and there are two pools outside (one for the kids ) with sunshine by the poolside the whole day. The location couldn’t have been better: right next to the main street, but still peaceful and quiet. We also really appreciated the private parking, which made things easy with our rental car. Breakfast was tasty and varied enough throughout the week so it never got boring. But what truly made our stay special was the owner, Kiriakos – such a kind and welcoming host. We left with great memories and would happily return. Highly recommend! 💙

It is a small hotel and a family business. I traveled out of season and have to say that it was very quiet. I felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Everything is new and very clean. However, you should bear in mind that there is no breakfast on site. However, there are several supermarkets in the town itself. So you can organize yourself😊

Kato Gouves is a peaceful and charming area, perfect for a relaxing family vacation. The surroundings are quiet and scenic, with beautiful mountain views and plenty of space to unwind. The accommodation we stayed in was modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, making us feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast was fresh, made with love, and featured local, sustainable products — a real highlight. The management was friendly, responsive, and attentive to our needs. On the downside, the location is a bit far from the main towns and beachfronts, and the shower could have had stronger water pressure. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that I would recommend and would consider returning to.

Very nice holiday town, with options to spend the evening, by no loud clubbing. Nice evening life. The town lise along the seashore, so it makes for amazing long walks at sunset or sunrise. Locals are super friendly, prices are fair, many people but not over-crowded. Very nice family taverns, great food. Many runners, so it`s a welcoming spot for early risers. I was traveling alone and felt super safe the entire time. Great options to book trips to other parts of the island, I was super happy with the offers and availability.

Small place with shops and restaurants, easy access to beach. There is a bus which takes you to Heraklion in 30 minutes. By taxi it is maybe 20 minutes pretty convenient from the airport. Walking around is easy and you can get to the Aquarium which is fun for kids.

A lovely small resort with just a nice amount of shops,...

A lovely small resort with just a nice amount of shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. it is a great central location for the airport and if you want to venture out further around the island, it is close to the main E75 and E90 routes. You are directly under the airport landing route but it wasn't a major factor or didn't detract from our great experience.
