On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes of caldera, so it has different levels. On the plus side as soon as you leave the hotel you are on the famous Fira/Oia walk - turn right for Fira. You are on the highest part of the caldera so initially it is downhill, also you are close to Skaros rock which is worth visiting for the views and has a church partially hidden on the seaward side at a slightly lower elevation. As long as you can look to the sea you will have great sunset views wherever you are,my hotel patio was great for this.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Glad I booked Imerovigli over Oia or Fira. It was quieter, more affordable, has amazing views and walking distance to great restaurants. Imerovigli is a stunning destination, with incredibly beautiful accommodations and restaurants. The only downside is the many stairs you need to climb, which can be tiring in the evening after a full day. On the other hand, in the early morning I really enjoyed jogging through the area. We loved Imerovigli.
We loved Imerovigli. It has some lovely cafes and restaurants away from busy Fira which is just a 20 minute walk down the hill. Avocado restaurant is great for dinner and Ellie cafe next door excellent for great coffee and breakfast. Wonderful sunsets!!Guest review byPhilippaAustralia - 10.0

Beautiful town, great for travel to all other destinations on the island as it's nice and central and quieter than Oia, but the same beautiful white cliff buildings. It was very peaceful as a result and we could have heard a pin drop at night! The one bedroom apartment we had was lovely and spacious and we loved the King Sized bed. We also enjoyed having our own spa pool and took advantage of it while surveying the valley below at dusk.
