We recently stayed at Hani Zisi and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The place has undergone significant renovations after the flood last year, with a completely new reception and restaurant area. The bathroom in our room was also brand-new and impeccably clean. While the room itself had a slightly older vibe, it was spacious, cozy, and well-maintained. The highlight of our stay was the restaurant — the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The view from the property is breathtaking, with stunning sights of the surrounding mountains, villages, and even the sea in the distance. Chania is primarily a ski resort, so during autumn, there isn’t much to do except retreat, relax, and enjoy nature. However, if you have a car, there are plenty of other places on Mount Pelion to explore.

Wonderful surroundings, renovated hotel, cozy room with comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and above all welcoming, good-hearted owners/staff. They also helped me with my big luggage and asked me at the end of every day if I needed anything. Plus, they have a very sweet dog. What an excellent place to choose for a short or a long stay in Pelion! We are very happy to have stayed there for a long weekend at the end of the summer. The hotel has been recently renovated, so, everything is new and of top quality. It is located under the shade of the beautiful huge trees in the village square. Waking up and being surrounded by these beautiful trees offered us great and positive energy! We booked and stayed in the family deluxe room which was spacious and it also had a large sofa and a studying desk. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and they went out of their way in order to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Mr Christos, thank you mrs Lili and all the rest of the staff. We were offered freshly made home made plum jam as a special treat! Whatever was offered in the breakfast area, it was of excellent quality. Their priority was to offer seasonal local fruits. We were lucky enough to be there and taste the first local apples of the season. Two different types of local homemade pies were on offer every day in the breakfast buffet. Lili prepared traditional loukoumades, which were served with the famous local honey of Pelion. Besides, coffee was included in the price, whereas, it is common practice to be charged extra for hot drinks at breakfast time, in other hotels imin Pelion. The atmosphere in this small traditional hotel is friendly and relaxing. The top quality bed linen and mattresses ensured that we slept very well. Also, the hotel has a centrally installed heating and cooling system. However, the trees in the square offered sufficient shade and coolness, therefore, we didn’t need to use the cooling system in August. We would love to visit this beautiful hotel in winter and experience staying there again. Once again, thank you for your hospitality!🙏

The stuff. It's all about the people. They are super nice and hospitable. Airline lost my luggage. I needed some pills to get rid of a nasty migraine. It was the weekend so the Pharmacy was close. I asked if they have something for it. They hoked me up in a second. My room had a rope for drying clothes. Smart when the main attractions in the area is butiful beaches. And needed when you don't have a lot of clothes and need to wash them... And they have an amazing pool that you can even swim at night.

Very beautiful destination for mountain lovers.

Very beautiful destination for mountain lovers. Even in August it was quite cold, as the evening was wintery and for the first time I went in August near a burning fireplace. >There are few options for food in the area and the alternatives are somewhat far away. I would take thick clothes with me even in summer on my next visit since it is close to 1200 meters altitude.

The hotel was centrally located for visiting both the east and west coasts of the northern area of the Pelion peninsula, (an area known for its winding roads which take a long time to get around). It was also spotlessly clean & comfortable and the breakfast superb. However, what makes this hotel really special is the warm, family atmosphere created by Anastasia who does everything she can to make your stay extra special. We would give her 15 out of 10 if we could!
