Hotel very close to the port. Old town and beaches are about 45 minutes by foot, shuttle buses start close by the hotel too. Since I arrived in pre-season the pool and what seems to be a pool bar were not yet operating, but the area appears nice. Breakfast was good as well.

Breakfast buffet selection was excellent! Location of the hotel with the private beach was a real treat! Rooms were spacious, quiet, beautifully furnished and clean, and we were upgraded to a suite with a private pool!! Absolutely wonderful!! Staff were friendly and attentive! Overall, oustanding hotel. Immaculate facilities, beautiful room, wonderful breakfast … but … the staff were incredible. For a year old hotel everyone was exceptionally professional, helpful, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our stay so good.

The best hotel experience I’ve ever had! Everyone was super kind friendly and they welcomed us in the most beautiful way. The breakfast was incredible and the cook Evangelia was the nicest person I’ve ever met! I suggest the name of the hotel should be Evangelia because the whole experience of the hotel wouldn’t be the same without her. She was chatting with us every morning giving us the best tips for the island and she has the warmest and kindest heart! I will definitely come again in Patmos and especially in that hotel. Amazing location, a fantastic view and they took care of us like we were their family. I will keep those memories forever. Thank you all for everything! Kindest regards Anna Maria and Bruno

We warmly recommend Villa Zacharo! The location is perfect, just a couple of walking minutes from the port of Patmos. The rooms were very cosy and nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the balkony offered a very nice view on the town of Hora and the Monastery of St. John, both UNESCO world heritage sites. The breakfast was also included and was a good part of the stay.

Grikos is a pretty sea-front village with five tavernas, one organised beach and two unorganised beaches. It's perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The port of Skala, the main town, is 3 kilometres away, and buses costing two euros run regularly throughout the day and into the early evening. There's also a car and scooter hire establishment for those who prefer their own transport. There is no grocery-store in Grikos, but Skala is close enough to not make this too much of an inconvenience.

Nice small charming hotel, only 20 rooms, well situated ( the beach is at the corner) We liked the greek atmosphere inside The family who runs the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast on the roof, in the shade, with a nice view :) And a choice of good locals taverns in the area We couldn't ask for more !

Our location is extremely good. The hotel is very stylish and luxurious. Towels, sheets, everything was extremely clean. If I have to make a small criticism, the floor of the room, the terrace and the private pool and the room could have been cleaner. other than that everything is perfect

The room was elegantly furnished, and had a very nice terrace with a view. The hotel stuff was very friendly and gave us information on the restaurants around. Very nice the included breakfast served in a nice hall.

Tomas was the best host. He picked us up from the port and left us at the end of the trip. Hw was very helpful with the taxis etc. Patmos villas is very accessible by bus and taxi and has lots of restaurants nearby.
