The place was absolutely stunning. My wife and I booked this place for our honeymoon, and that did not disappoint in any way. Everything from the location, to the people owning the place everything was perfect. Really modern and very luxurious place which was a few meters away from the beautiful water. The rooms were beautiful and very nice, everything was clean and worked. We were very happy with our own private pool and terrace, which was cleaned every day! The owners of this place is a very lovely and warm family, who makes sure every need you ask them are met! They are happy to talk, give you a good place to visit or even ask if there is anything that they could help with. They also have a family restaurant, which is very classy and has various dishes where you can enjoy your meal right by the ocean. And we were also welcomed warmly by the restaurant! Overall 10/10 experience, I would definitely suggest this place if you are looking for a private stay, where all your needs are met. Where rooms are equipped with everything you need.

The hotel was so nice the room with terrace and fire place was amazing and huge ; the pool area was so modern; on top of that all the team from the reception to the restaurant they are amazing ,spectacular one of the best hotel team I have ever seen; all are so kind ,friendly,respectful ; I had the best experience ever in my life .the bottomline is that I will go every year to the hotel .I already booked for 2025

It was spacious and modern. We were upgraded as the season is drawing to an end. Lambros met us at 12 pm at night from a late flight which was much appreciated. The air conditioning was brilliant. Cleaned every day to a high standard by a lovely lady who gave me great advice on Crete. We loved the pool, bar and music during the day and when we had enough, we closed over the soundproof doors. Beds were very comfy. Location perfect - central and on the seafront packed with shops, bars and restaurants.

The people working at Momi Slow Living are a true joy to be around. This team is made up of the most heartwarming, kind individuals who do their best to make sure you’re enjoying your stay. They really let you unwind and live slow while enjoying good food and being able to relax. When it comes to the food, I feel like there was definitely something for every type of eater. There are some lovely tavernas along the sea front, great beaches. We visited the aquarium which is said to be one of the best in Europe and made a lovely day trip with the children. Easy access to neighbouring area.

Gournes is not big .

Gournes is not big . Shops , tarvernas , fuel stations all close to hand and short walking distance to beach with lots more tavernas. Waterpark and Dinosaurs Park and Aquarium are all close by . Enjoyed by our grandchildren. Family orientated. Would recommend this to all potential hirers. Minutes from Heraklion airport .
