We had a fantastic stay at Artemis Apartments! From the very beginning, Katerina surprised us by upgrading our original 18m² room to a spacious 40m² apartment with a kitchen and a stunning sea view—completely free of charge. The apartment itself was modern, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Everything was new, clean, and very comfortable. The location is another big plus—right by the port and just a 10-minute walk from both the town center and the train station. It’s the perfect spot for both relaxation and exploring the area. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

What a gorgeous location, and the host Kosta was a delight! He gave us some great tips about the Diakopto train which was very helpful. The place itself is huge and has wonderful views. We ate a beautiful dinner at his restaurant on the beach and watched the sun set as the kids played. Wished we had time to eat our breakfast there too :-)

First of all we loved the warm welcome of the owner Mrs Catherine.Furthermore we appreciated the facilities of our apartment. There was a lovely fireplace, a wonderful kitchen with a kettle, a cooker, a fridge, cups, plates, forks, knives and spoons to help ourselves.There were society games available like backgammon and chess.The view from the apartment was spectacular.There are enough plugs for a shaver or a mobile charger.The bathroom is comfortable and spacious.Shampoos and bathfoam are provided together with face masks and antiseptic liquid against covid- 19.In short the apartment was cared of in great detail.The decoration was traditional with emphasis on wooden items. The beds are comfortable to sleep on.There is enough light in all parts of the flat at night. One of the most important things to mention is the autonomous heating and the fact that the room with the double bed is fully separated from the rest of the rooms, which makes it suitable for families with kids or 2 couples who want to share the flat and are on holidays together. Last but not least, breakfast is provided on request and is offered in the apartment so you can enjoy it at your own time and pace.(Home made sweets, jam, butter, toast bread and refreshments like milk, orange juice and multijuice are offered apart from tea and coffee).Parking is also provided free of charge. The only disadvantages I can think of is that although wi fi is always available, it sometimes turns off and you have to log on again.The other one is that it is twenty five minutes away from the centre of Kalavrita. To sum up, Kallisti is good value for money and if you decide to go,I am certain you won' t regret it.Sights are not far away by car, plus the owners are friendly and always available to help.

The place is not to heavy on tourists, they and we mainly come for the Vouraiko train (must see!). It would have been great to have known upfront that the seats on the train are not many so booking is necessary.

The place to catch the railway up the mountains to Kalavryta...

The place to catch the railway up the mountains to Kalavryta. It also has a limited rail service to Athens and is close the the main Pelopponees motorway. It is very much off the tourist map and the town offers little in the way of attractions. It is however ideal for those wishing a quiet stay. Not a place to entertain children.

It was a quiet clean venue with close by restaurant facilities near to the beach. We were out of season and it only opened at weekends. The main tourist attraction of the rack railway was not operating due to a land slide blocking the line.

It's a very personal matter, of course, but I really enjoyed...

It's a very personal matter, of course, but I really enjoyed the small scale, tranquility, and friendliness of Diakopto. I could have easily stayed there a bit longer. There are some good restaurants for those who enjoy traditional Greek cuisine. The cogwheel train is a must-see.

Beautiful place with good tourist infrastructure and good market. Pleasant people and the cogwheel train is always a very interesting option. For cyclists there are many good routes. The cheese pies of Kalavrita are unbeatable.

The town itself is relatively small and its main attraction...

The town itself is relatively small and its main attraction is the cog railway. The beaches near Diakopto are decent. There are some good restaurants in the area around Diakopto. We were particularly impressed by the taverna "Gefyra Tsagris".

I liked every thing We stoped in Diakopto on the way back from Lefkada . It was the best place for the end of our trip. Chrysta was so nice and even helped me with a problem i had. I got a parking ticket in Athens . She actually took me to the post office and helped me with this . The room was beautiful, high quality furniture, facilities and cleaning; new high end bathroom, great sofa, games for children, new high quality washing machine and dryer, new equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and more

The place is situated right in front of the sea, two nice restaurants nearby. The rooms are renovated not long ago and in general everything looks very neat. 15 min of walk from the Diakopto railway station to Kalavrita. There’s all useful information in the room (taxi, restaurants, emergency and etc.). The lady that welcomed and checked in us was very nice. Pets friendly place! There was a place to dry beach towels and clothes.

The house was very clean ,conveniently located near the centre of the village Diakopto, it had all the necessary staff to make a family’s stay very easy and pleasant. The host was kind enough to welcome as with cold water and candies for the kids.Everything was new and we immediately felt like home . We will come back very soon ! It was one of the best stays in the area

We stayed at Diakopto because we wished to travel on the rack and pinnion railway that leaves from there. The hotel certainly met our needs for this because it is only a ten-minute walk from the railway station. The room was very comfortable with masses of room and and a good kitchen facility as well.
