The villas are amazing, designed with beauty and functionality in mind. Maria is a fantastic host, helping us with every request we had during our stay. Area of Arkalochori is a beautiful region of Crete, Heraklion is nearby and stunning beaches on the south side (like Listis beach) are also not that far away. The villa had everything we’ve desired - great pool, outdoor area with a huge dining table and gas grill, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, fast WiFi and even a first aid kit! I’d love to come back here in the future :)

It was so wonderful to get out of the oppressive heat of the Cretan coast. The hotel lies at around 350m above sea level on the slope of a mountain. The air is notably fresher up there. The view from the restaurant and the terrace of our room were amazing. We had a beautiful room with a very comfortable bed. The pool area was great. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious.

This was easily one of the most hospitable stays we have ever had. The owners were so kind and treated us like family. Nik made us breakfast in the morning, we weren't given a menu, the food just showed up and it was delicious!! Everyone in this area was so nice and wonderful to my 16-month-old son. The room we stayed in was clean and functional. The beach was awesome, we were the only people there. Some rocks but 99% sand. When we were heading out he gave me his card and told me to make sure I emailed him if we had any problems or questions about the island. I cannot express how great the customer service was.

We got special attentions for our 30 year noneymoon: fruit, wine, room with a view,... again special thanks to the staff. Very nice hosts which invited me to coffee and cake in their tavern (with a great view) and even had a little present for me. The studio ist modern and very nice. Internet was good, the view great, showers very well. The location is actually a big advantage which I didnt see before: The Zeus cave is very empty before 10am. Then many tourists start to pour in. So it is very easy to just check out and walk 10min into the cave and have it for yourself.
