Most of all we liked the exceptional host Eleni who was extremely welcoming, helpful, understanding, and chearful person that made our stay in her facilities really enjoyful. The location of the apartment is perfect with a beautiful view and a small nice beach across the street. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and nice relaxing vacations. Thanks a lot, Eleni. Everything. Was clean and tidy. Rooms were spacious. Air con efficient. Fully functional kitchen. The shower was amazing, and there was plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. I enjoyed how close it was to everything from shops for groceries and restaurants to a bike/scooter rental place and the bus stop

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed...

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed was opposite the beach. There is a promenade right on the beach for early morning walks or jogging. The port is 3 minutes walk away, so we didn't need a taxi or a car to move around. You can rent motorbikes, bicycles and you can go round the island. There is an efficient and prompt bus service which takes you to the two famous beaches of the island (Dragonera and Aponisos). Both worth a day's visit and the sea is unbelievably clear and inviting.

I really loved this side of Agistri, honestly, when we had to pack up and move to a new room in Skala,I was sad. I really enjoyed the quiet, tranquil setting of Megalochori. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Kristos on the Jaimaca boat tour, it was a fabulous experience. He also plays the Bazookie exceptionally well. It was incredible to see the shipwreck he takes you to and lunch in Methana was perfect. Can’t say enough about it. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment we had on this side of Megalochori.

We preferred this end of the strip as it is quieter but...

We preferred this end of the strip as it is quieter but still has good beaches, bars and restaurants only a few minutes stroll away. It has a couple of good supermarkets too. There is quite a bit of building work going on so maybe check with your host first.

We went out of season with few people on the island except...

We went out of season with few people on the island except the core of locals, most tourist businesses closed. We chose it as it is small and we expected it to be quiet, and only one hour from Piraeus by ferry. Nearby Aegina is much larger and another option, but you would need your own transport (hire cars available). in season i could imagine it being super busy and seeming crowded.

Very professional, friendly host, very quick to respond to queries via the app. The room was on the second floor with stunning sea views from the balcony. Spacious, very clean. AMAZING mattress, one of the comfiest I've ever had in a hotel room, honestly I just didn't want to get out of bed. You fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves from the sea across the street.

Great hotel with friendly helpful staff. Ideal central location for exploring both sides of agistri with bike hire nearby. Room was clean with good facilities and amazing sea view. Restaurant was very reasonably priced compared to the rest of meglachlori with a good variety of dishes to choose from.
